Today I asked Mommy a simple question:

“What makes YOU happy?”

I already knew her first answer would probably be her family… but I wanted to know what makes her happy as an individual. 🥹

Because somewhere between raising kids, taking care of a home, dealing with life’s stresses and always putting everyone else first… sometimes our parents forget that they only get one life too.

I want Mommy to know it’s okay to choose herself sometimes. To travel, have fun, try new things and simply do what makes HER happy. ❤️

She spent so much of her life taking care of us… now I want to see her enjoy life for herself too.

Sometimes the best memories are the ones you don’t plan. 🧡

Last night we randomly packed up the family and headed to Montréal for poutine, ice cream & that iconic Orange Julep juice! 🍊🍟🍦 @gibeauorangejulep

I grew up in this neighbourhood, so coming back always feels nostalgic. Now I get to make new memories here with my own little family. 🥹

Sometimes you just gotta say “get dressed, we’re going out!” 😂
