Chief K.O. Okpobor’s presentation of 50 VODI sewing machines to 50 beneficiaries in Iyede, Isoko North, is a practical example of what the MORE Agenda of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, the UKODO, means when opportunity is placed directly in the hands of the people.

Beyond the machines themselves, this is about giving people the means to build livelihoods, support their families and become economically productive.

The inauguration of the Girl Child Ambassadors in Ndokwa West marks the dawn of a profound movement. It sends a resounding message to every young girl growing up in our communities: your dreams are valid, your voice holds power, and there will always be a seat waiting for you at the table.

I commend the visionary leadership of the Managing Director and CEO of DESOPADEC, Chief Festus M. Ochonogor, for bringing this initiative to life. This spark ignited in Ndokwa West must echo across all mandate areas.
