POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Daddy Squad joins forces with Brazilian producer Renato Cohen for “Pressuredrome,” a wired, high-energy collision of electro and disco.

The original builds around a driving bassline, punchy drums, sharp synths, and an insistentvocal, creating a track that feels playful, strange, and made for the dance floor. The release also includes a shorter edit alongside the extended version.

The Populists takes “Pressuredrome” somewhere heavier, reshaping it with a relentless groove, distorted textures, and steadily mounting pressure. Darker and more driving without losing the personality of the original, the remix completes a release built for late-night rooms. by @daddysquad.official

Muito obrigado Brasil!!! What an incredible trip through São Paulo, Brasilia, Rio, and Curitiba. Two weeks, three unforgettable gigs for my first time in Brazil. Thanks to @festa.lust @perigor_alb @club.jerome @covilcu @pedrogrego for the opportunity, it was amazing. Thanks also to @timo.cl for working some magic to make it all possible.
Also a huge element of my trip was finally meeting @renatoc after years of collabs and WhatsApps. Good times! 🙌
Slide one is our next collab out on @roamrecordings soon 🪩
Last slide skinny daddy realness at the beach 🏖️
And love to all the new people I met along the way. Brasil is full of warm friendly people. Until next time ❤️ by @daddysquad.official

I magically found the stems to the Pet Shop Boys classic “Heart” so turned out a teasing remix, holding the full vocal back until the end and made the instrumental elements dirtier and tougher. Been working a treat in my gigs in London and Berlin.
Out now on Bandcamp ❤️ by @daddysquad.official

Come with me on a deep dive into the stems of the Pet Shop Boys… let’s see how they produced this track and what we can learn from them.
I love getting hold of stems, it feels like being in the studio with the artist and you get a real feel for their process.
