There was a time when I thought treasure was something you could find.

Something you could buy.
Something you could keep.

Then she came along and changed the definition completely. ❤️

The best treasures don’t sit in a box.

They climb onto your shoulders.
They hold onto your neck.
They make you tired.
They make you laugh.
And somehow, they make you wish you could freeze time.

One day, she won’t fit up there anymore.

So for now…

I’ll carry her as long as she’ll let me. 🗺️❤️

The mornings are early.
The car rides are loud.
The questions never seem to stop. 😂

But somehow, the years are flying.

So I’m going to keep saying yes to the adventures.

Keep getting outside.

Keep making the ordinary days feel like something worth remembering.

Because someday he won’t ask Dad to carry him anymore.

And when that day comes, I hope we have a lifetime of memories to look back on.

That’s the treasure.

Not the things we own.

The moments we got to keep. 🗺️❤️

If someone asked me what my greatest treasures are, I wouldn’t point to a bank account, a house, or anything money can buy.

I’d point to these little people.

The arms around my neck.
The sleepy heads on my shoulder.
The little voices calling “Dad.”

Because the older I get, the more I realize...

The greatest adventure isn’t finding more.

It’s realizing how much you already have.

So I’ll keep showing up.

Keep carrying them.

Keep exploring.

Keep collecting memories.

Because these are the treasures I’II spend the rest of my life trying to hold onto. 🗺️ ❤️

She asked dad to take her to her favorite play space!

TREASURE #008 🦌

Fawn & Cub Play Space

We found a little place where
the coffee could be pretend,
the checkout could be a game,
and a playroom could become an entire world.

We found climbing.
We found exploring.
We found a whole lot of imagination.

And somewhere between the games and the giggles,
we found another memory worth keeping.

Because one day…

She won’t play pretend like this.
She won’t need Dad to play along.
And these little worlds she creates will become memories of their own.

So while she still wants Dad to come along for the adventure…

We’re going to keep finding the treasure. 🗺️❤️

It looks like magic… but it’s actually science. 🧪👀

We tried this “Magic Vacuum” experiment and had to see if we could figure out why the water rises into the jar.

🔥 The flame heats the air
💨 Some of that air escapes
❄️ The air cools after the flame goes out
🌎 The higher air pressure outside pushes the water into the jar

No magic. No tricks. Just science.

These are the moments I want to remember.

The questions.
The experiments.
The little discoveries.
The “Dad, look!” moments.

Because the goal isn’t to give them a perfect childhood.
It’s to give them a childhood worth remembering. 🗺️❤️

Provide for them.
Protect them.
