Golf strategy disappears the second I see a gap through the trees…

I TRY to limit the hero shots… but sometimes the golf gods tempt me 😂

Tell me I’m not the only one.

Stay classy.

Every golfer needs a hype squad like this, especially after shanking your first tee shot and going 7 over through the first 5 holes 😅

3 keys to better wedges from 45–90m 🎯

Want to get up and down more often and start making more birdies? Get these 3 things right:

1. Control your distance 🎯
Know how far your wedges go with different swing lengths. You don’t need to swing harder — you need reliable numbers.

2. Pick your landing spot 👀
Don’t just aim at the pin. Pick a landing spot that gives you the best chance of getting the ball close.

3. Commit to the shot 💪
Once you’ve picked your target and club, trust it. Smooth tempo and solid contact through impact.

Better wedge play = shorter putts = lower scores.

Which of these do you struggle with most? 👇

Nothing like sneaking in a few solo holes after work at the end of a long week ⛳️

Sometimes, a few quiet hours on the golf course are exactly what the soul needs 😌

@solossocks bringing that all-day comfort, on and off the course.

Nice to get out for a proper par 72 at Kew ⛳️

Course was in great condition and the game is starting to come together. A few things clicking at the right time 👌

Tiger’s 5 rules for lower scores 👇

1. No bogeys on par 5s
Par 5s are where you should be looking to score. Take your chances when they’re there, but if birdie disappears, take par and walk off happy.

2. No doubles
Bogeys happen. Doubles are the scorecard killers. When a hole starts going sideways, forget damage control heroics and get out of there with a bogey at worst.

3. No 3-putts
Don’t chase the hole from 30 feet. Your first job is getting the ball close enough that the second putt feels almost automatic.

4. No bogeys inside 150 yards
From this distance, you’ve got the tools to give yourself a real scoring chance. Commit to the shot, find the green and make the putter do the rest.

5. No double chips
The first chip doesn’t need to be perfect — it just needs to finish on the green. Give yourself a putt and live to fight another hole.

Which one of these do you struggle with most? 👇

Want a lower handicap? Become deadly from 120m and in. ⛳️

Your scoring clubs can make a massive difference to your round. You don’t need to hit it further, you need to make the most of the shots you already have.

A few things to focus on:

1. Know your distances. Know how far you carry each wedge, including your half and three-quarter swings.

2. Control your distance. Not every shot needs to be a full swing. Learn to take something off it and control how far the ball goes.

3. Pick the right target. You don’t need to attack every pin. Give yourself the biggest margin for error and take the easy two putt.

4. Get your misses closer. You’re not going to hit every shot to tap-in range, but you can get better at leaving yourself easier chips and putts.

5. Practice with a purpose. Spend less time smashing balls and more time practising the distances you actually face on the course.

You don’t need to hit every shot perfectly. You just need to waste fewer of them. 👊

Save this for your next practice session and tell me: what’s your biggest weakness from 120m and in? 👇

Golf is rarely a straight line.

Some weeks you feel like you’re getting closer, then you shoot 10+ over and wonder what happened 😂

But I guess that’s the game. Keep showing up, keep learning and trust that the bad rounds are part of the progress too.

Even though I’m speed training with @thestacksystem, I’m trying to stay in tempo town. 🏌️‍♂️

I’ve been caught out in recent weeks, particularly off the tee, trying to swing harder and losing my tempo in the process.

Channeling my inner @cedswings. 🧈
