My first and most favorite Kalbijjim My first time ever trying Kalbijjim was at @daeho.official and since then it has been my most favorite spot to get this korean braised short ribs dish. The pot is packed with tender beef, veggies, rice cake. I love adding cheese and glass noodles to it. It's so delicious! Make sure to try out their other dishes too. I got the spicy cold noodles, Yuk Hwe (raw beef), and seafood pancake! I'm such a huge fan of them and have actually been to a lot of their locations! Consistently ranked as one of the best restaurants in San Francisco, Daeho has officially expanded to the East Bay! Having waited for a table at Daeho’s intimate original location in Japantown SF, I was thrilled to see so many tables at their recently revamped Concord location. This East Bay location offers all the delicious Korean food you know and love from its San Francisco restaurant, but with more space *and* free parking! Daeho is known for their premium melt-in-your-mouth kalbijjim using USDA prime short ribs. Get added mozzarella for a special little fire show. Plus, The New York Times even named their Kalbi Kulguksu one of the best dishes in America. I highly recommend also getting their Kalbi Tteokbokki, Seafood Pancake (Hae Mul Pajeon), and Cold Noodle (Mool Naeng Myun). Those buckwheat noodles are one of my favorite Korean dishes (it’s so refreshing and balances out the heat and spice of the meal). They also do great Ox-Bone Soip and Bulgogi Dolsot Bibimbab.
