5 ways dogs teach us about self-care:

1 they enjoy taking a walk in nature, it’s a way to reconnect with nature and the teacher within, also a time to relax and decompress.
2. They take the time to sniff the world, while we don’t do that, we can still stop and enjoy the beauty all around us. They teach us awareness.
3. Enjoy a good meal and having a meal in a nice company can be nourishing not only for the body but for the soul.
4. Look for ways to get excited about the little things because they make up our every day life.
5. take a nap when tired, allow our body to rest when needed.

What are some other ways your pet remind me you of taking it slow?

June camera roll from my short trip to Charleston. Such a lovely place with lots of decor inspiration. Would have loved to stay long to explore some of the vintage shops.

Happy Monday friends! Hope you have a good start of the week.
April has been a decent spring month with lots of blooming flowers and trees in vibrant greens. Always such a pleasant awakening after winter.
How is the weather in your part of the world?
