I'm rarely out here sharing my processes (sadly), but I hope you enjoy this quick "finish up" clip, as much as I did enjoy putting it together.

One of many, by yours truly. 🙂

Your thoughts/ compliments are welcome in the comments 👇🏾🤝

I don’t have a reason to not be a patriotic Nigerian.
I have no reason to not wish her well.

Many independence years later, yet the subscription rolls over…

Another year, same plan.

Same delusion, same story…

A nation plunged into darkness; not by circumstance, but by choice (greed, politics, rotations of nonchalance, etc).

Then there’s the talk of independence celebrations, and the big question is; what exactly are we celebrating?

If in all, we can not as much as boast of mere constant light (very basic), where the repercussions in their weight, takes the best of us, and impoverishes the nation, then are we really as free?

This piece is titled: “NO LIGHT”.

It captures a woman conveniently leaning on a power transformer, to exaggerate our current power realities…

one where improvement has been promised over a consistent cycle, and yet darkness remains our emblem.

And one wonders; WHAT IS THE ESSENCE?

It’s another Independence Day, tomorrow, but… 😤😤😤

Please give me your support tomorrow, by reposting, when I post the finished piece.

I believe it deserves to reach a wider audience.

Thank you guys 🙏🏾 by @dagaius
