Latest GCP COVERT Law Enforcement Rifle

From the very beginning, I put the new rifle through a purpose-built stress test. Combined with our proprietary .308 reamer, the PXT barrel, and a suppressor to optimize the system, the results from this small sample were impressive, to say the least. This marks the start of a new formula as we continue to evolve with the industry and new technology. taken in Kentucky by @dagofl

7mm Backcountry for this hunting season?

Here’s an example of me dialing in my hunting rifle for this upcoming Kentucky firearm season.

Improvised shooting position.

365 yards
400 yards

I can shoot farther than before at the farm, but I still want a really short suppressed rifle. This @proofresearch Ascension is 16½ inches and is pushing a 175-grain at 2880fps, 170 at 2870 and the 195gr Berger at 2770fps!!!! The rifle is incredibly ergonomic—easy to maneuver because it’s shorter and lighter. The fit and finish are world-class, and I wanted to make it even better. Then I added the @tbac_suppressors Magnus S-RR, which gives me a completely different experience.

Practicing improvised field positions is giving me the confidence that this is the right setup.
I got on the 7mm Backcountry bandwagon because of Dave from @tdchunts —

I’m likely retiring my 7mm PRC now. With the abundance of choices from @federalpremium ammunition, there’s no reason to even hassle over the sweet spot. taken in Bracken County by @dagofl

Light is right. Noveske 14.5” DDF 6mm ARC

Alternate position off the bag at 400.

The @noveske_llc DDF 14.5” pin and welded in 6mmARC is just cheating - 110 A-Tip doing work.

Big thanks to @kingmackerel for steering me right on this build.

Bag or bipod at 400 - what are you taking?

GCP OVERWATCH 2.0 | LE

Setting a New Standard for 2026.

The strength of this system is in the small improvements we continue to make—refining every detail while incorporating new technologies into the final product.

A special shoutout to Thunder Beast Arms. The Magnus-RR line is an incredible product and an outstanding addition to the Overwatch 2.0 system.
