📍They are located at 1009 Warren St in Greensboro by the coliseum from Tuesday-Saturday (unless they have an event)

Now this place is a true hidden gem. But people have been gatekeeping this place, so expect a line when you visit and PLEASE be patient with Quan, he is such a sweetheart!

WHAT WE HAD:

Andrew had the hungry hank plate, it came with a double patty smash burger, wings, fried shrimp and fries. The wings were spicy peach and he said they were delicious!

I had the shrimp Alfredo and let me tell yall, quan seasoned the heck out of this plate! And as you a see in the video, the portion size was MASSIVE. This one plate will last me for a few days. Honestly, some of the best food in the city

The Nanna puddin was SOOO good! I’ve never heard of banana pudding with strawberries instead of bananas and topped with strawberry crunch. It was the best nanner pudding I’ve had in a while.

We also had the ocean water lemonade as well as the mango lemonade. They come with real fruit and they were so refreshing!

Chef Quan’s story is sooo inspiring. From going from prison to serving the Greensboro community in a major way is so impressive!

Greensboro! Here are three of my favorite black owned food trucks in the city that I think you should support this weekend!

The thing I love about all of these food trucks is they all have a unique story behind the food. Chef Quan from @dahotttbox started his food truck journey after serving time in prison, this is his mission to give back to the community in a positive way.

His story is similar to Big Will from @backyardflamesnc who also served time in prison but dedicated his time to serving and inspiring the youth as well as running his food truck.

They’ve both been though ups and downs but it’s so inspiring how they continue to show up and show love to the Greensboro community!

Cameron from @dabigbackshack is my High School friend and his stories very inspiring as well. We worked his food truck part time while working full time at @wssu1892 . He recently quit his full time job to run this food truck full time. I love to see him take that leap of faith and try something different.

Man listen… @dahotttbox don’t owe me NOTHING!!! That pasta sauce with that extra razzle dazzle took that salmon and chicken Alfredo to another level. I need 3 more big back boxes right now! Smash burger was flavorful and juicy. Wings and shrimp were fried right the first time. The dry rub definitely did me justice, especially when I dipped it in the honey garlic sauce. That honey garlic is where it’s at.
