Somehow, somewhere between dance rehearsals, research papers, fellowship work, conference presentations, job applications, burnout, joy, and a truly astonishing amount of sleep lost… I completed my Master’s with a 3.9 GPA!

This MPH journey challenged me in ways I never expected. There were moments I felt deeply certain of my purpose, and moments I questioned everything. But through all of it, I kept coming back to the work: advocating for reproductive justice, maternal health, cancer disparities, violence survivors, and the communities too often failed by the systems meant to protect them.

And in a time when public health, healthcare equity, and bodily autonomy have become increasingly politicized, completing this degree feels so much bigger than a personal accomplishment. The more I learned, the more certain I became that this work matters, especially now.

Public health is not just policy, statistics, or theory to me. It is people. It is prevention. It is community. It is the belief that everyone deserves dignity, compassion, and equitable care. I started this journey wanting to make a difference. I’m leaving it even more aware of how much work still needs to be done.

My mother married the love of her life this weekend, and I had the honor of standing beside her as her maid of honor. ✨

Watching her walk toward her new chapter, radiating pure happiness, was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. I’ve always looked up to her strength, and now I get to watch her live the fairytale she deserves! Cheers to forever with your amazing husband, Mama. You’ll always be my first best friend, and my heart. 🩷

@atlantasalsabachatafestival 💜💙🩷

I have been dancing for so much of my life, confidently performing for now 2, and just completed my first year of instructing. And I am NOT afraid to admit…

🤍 Imposter syndrome creeps in OFTEN, asking “Who am I to teach? To perform? To take up space in this industry?”I tell myself I need to be better before I step on stage or lead a class. But if not now, then when?

🤍 I understand now that growth happens in the moment, not when you think you’re ‘ready.’ Every dancer starts somewhere. Every teacher learns while teaching.

🤍 So we keep learning, keep showing up, and keep dancing. This passion is stronger than doubt.

To anyone feeling the same: You do belong. You are enough. ✨
