so I did a thing…

I’m not usually the type to write a lot often but this one was big for me. The last two years of my life have been filled with many accolades, plus a number of trials and tribulations and this degree is a testament of growth, hard work and perseverance. I did it.

With retiring from collegiate basketball as captain, working full time while in school full time, successfully completing an internship, a full scholarship, moving out of the country with no clue where I’ll land, graduating Magna Cum Laude with all As, joining Beta Gamma Sigma honor society in the top 20th percentile of my class and finishing DEBT FREE, I really worked hard for this. Never been the type to boost myself or brag, but I did it and I’m so happy I got to celebrate for real this time around and share this moment with the ones I love the most.

To continual growth, love and successes. I am proud to be where I am and excited for what’s to come. Thank you to those who continually show up for me, those who were there for the emotional ups and downs that came with much stress, those who understood when I needed to lock myself in my room to study and the list goes on. I am grateful and blessed to say the least. Thank you God!
