I have very exciting news!
I am deeply honored to be appointed as President and CEO of the Episcopal Church Foundation [link in bio]

My years serving @epischfdtn and its Endowment as a board member and advisor from 2103-2020 were impactful. After a 9-month @kornferry search, it is a privilege to be called back to serve to build on ECF’s 75-year history.

I look forward to working with our dedicated team, board members, partners, lay leaders, ministers, and all other constituents to strengthen faith communities and ministries during this time of change and healing.

Dail St. Claire’s journey with The Program is one worth sharing.

We asked Dail a few questions about what The Program has meant to her and what completing the Sydney Marathon represented after long COVID.

What has being part of The Program meant to you personally?

“Being part of The Program has meant much more than just regaining my fitness after long COVID. It gave me the confidence to run a marathon again and, most importantly, provided a community whose encouragement and camaraderie carried me through the challenge of training and life’s challenges. I am stronger physically and mentally, and I am deeply grateful to be part of such a special team.”

How has it changed your fitness or mindset since you first joined?

“The Program helped me rebuild my strength, endurance, and confidence after having long COVID. With the support and guidance of Strauss Zelnick and my Program teammates, I shifted my mindset from wondering what my body could still do to believing in what might be possible. I am now fitter, stronger, and more resilient, both physically and mentally.”

What did completing the Sydney Marathon mean to you after everything you went through with long COVID?

“Trust the training! The Program prepares me for life. Completing the Sydney Marathon meant reclaiming a part of myself that I feared long COVID had taken away. Crossing the finish line, despite the challenges during this marathon, filled me with gratitude for my recovery and health, my strength, The Program community, and everyone who supported me along the way.”

Congratulations, Dail, on an incredible accomplishment and the hard work behind it. We’re proud to have you as part of The Program!💪

Sydney Marathon finish - 4:08, a Boston qualifying time. Five years ago, I ran a 3:32 BQ, but after long COVID, this finish means even more. I am profoundly grateful to be running again and beginning a new chapter in my marathon journey.

A few surprises along the way:
Mile 18: I began gasping for air, just as I had four years ago while struggling to walk a single block. Thankfully, the breathing techniques I learned at the long-COVID clinic helped me recover.

Mile 24: For the first time in my marathon journey, my right leg cramped.

Mile 25: As I hobbled forward, my friend from New York appeared at the front of the crowd and yelled, “Go, Dail!” What a gift at exactly the right moment. @palmerzar

Mile 26.2: I finished! After an hour in the medical tent, I emerged to receive my medal. @sydney_marathon 🇦🇺
I appreciate the care that helped me heal, the friends who carried me forward, and a body that once again carried me 26.2 miles. Boston qualified, and above all, deeply grateful. @tevinwooten @chazster0590 @sydney #mindset #running #love #grateful taken in Sydney, Australia by @dail_stc

The total solar eclipse on August 12, 2026, followed a path of totality that ended at sunset over Spain and the western Mediterranean, creating a rare “sunset eclipse”.

We watched totality seamlessly merge into the natural sunset over a mountain range. I rarely get goosebumps. These photos continue to amaze me! @spain @ametsoc @nasa #eclipse #science #love #inspiration #mindset taken in Villalibado, Castilla y León, Spain by @dail_stc

Delighted to share the appointment of Michael Strauss as Executive Senior Investment Advisor. In this role, Strauss will partner with me to lead the ECF Endowment Management program, working closely with the Endowment Management team to serve Episcopal churches, dioceses, schools, and other faith-based organizations, and work with an OCIO to manage their endowment assets.

Strauss is a 45-year veteran in the financial services industry, with extensive experience in institutional asset allocation, investment strategy, and endowment and foundation advisory services. Michael brings exceptional investment judgment, seasoned leadership, and a deep understanding of the needs of endowments and foundations.

I had the pleasure of working with Michael during his tenure as Chief Economist at UBS in the 1990s, when I managed fixed-income assets for New York City’s pension funds. It’s wonderful how strong professional relationships can come full circle! #assetmanagement

I’m thrilled that Michael and I will lead Endowment Management together as we continue to strengthen this vital ministry of service to The Episcopal Church.

Everything looks clearer from the top of the mountain. Skiing provides a unique mix of adrenaline and mental clarity, where the silence of the snow and the challenge of the slopes help bring focus and peace.

Wishing all celebrating a joyful Easter and Passover. May this season of liberation and resurrection bring you peace, renewed hope, and blessings in your home.

My dear friend of 20 years, Jordan Metzl, MD, is the reason I started running after age 50—having never run a block—and I’ve now finished 15 marathons injury-free.

Jordan’s new book, “PUSH: Unlock the Science of Fitness Motivation to Embrace Health and Longevity,” distills what he’s spent decades doing and teaching.

Proud to celebrate this milestone and the countless lives he’s helped change, including mine. @drjordanmetzl @hspecialsurgery #purpose #health #fitness #community #love taken in Technogym Village by @dail_stc
