This is basically a part 2. But i did want to address the fact that maybe when we sometimes pray God doesn't answer as quickly as we would like or in the manner. And it can lead to us feeling discouraged, envious, angry or even depressed.

First off I'm not a pastor nor teacher or am I trying to be. I'm just someone who's sharing the lessons I'm learning on my walk with God, and this was the recent one. I prayed to God to give me strength and all week I've noticed the moments I've been doing without Him.

And man I've been creating excuses to why my actions were justified only to realise that I was wrong. And thats not a bad thing. It revealed that areas that I do need to work one and also surrender to God. But I'll talk more about that in the next video.# by @daily.bread_247

Lol I meant saying. But yea message stands. There's a spiritual shift happening and God is requiring more from the people He wants to use. Keep in mind it won't be easy but it'll worth it by @daily.bread_247

The last lesson, which is probably going to be the hardest one because it requires our hearts to be in place of surrender. Serving a community isn't easy but it's necessary because without people serving we'll die. So I know for the season that I'm in right now I need to serve the community, because once I do that God will open up more opportunities for all of us. by @daily.bread_247

High key, what ever you want in life jus ask God and prepare. Realest of real talks. Whenever people ask me about Cheetos I literally just say alignment and preparation. I still have a long way to go, but God really got an amazing plan and it would be a disservice if I dont play my part. by @daily.bread_247

Aligning with God is literally the best thing that you can do because He wants to be involved in your life. Some things He will give the answer for others He will guide you through. The important thing is that you building your relationship with Him thats not built in just rituals but on authenticity. by @daily.bread_247

#DailyBread

In the last video I spoke about a few things I've learnt while feeling like God has allowed me to be in delay. It was there to prepare me.

I mentioned how you might be like David, where one chance is all you need to shine, but are you prepared for that moment.

Earlier this year I just decided to invest more into myself, learning how to speak and communicate effectively, how to be a better leader and how to handle my finances. Learnt how to eat healthier and workout smarter. Even through failure in competition, there were lessons I took from them.

All of those lessons are now being applied in real time. I've become a part of a team of promoters, I got a new teaching job at a high school and I'm starting to look at potential investments for the future. The only thing now is to win dance competitions 😂.

Jokes aside there is true power in being prepared.

Proverbs 28:19 - "A hard worker has PLENTY food, but the person who chases fantasies ends up in poverty."

The things we desire are on the the other side of the hard choices we have. Consistent work coupled with faith will allow for God to use you in many ways.

Honestly, some nights I sit with God and tell Him, that this should've been the year I breakout. This should've the season that I do more than what I've ever done but I do understand why He still has me where I am. And this also may apply to you.

1. Serving his people.
It's easy to forget that as Christians we are called to serve God's people in all areas of our lives. Because it takes our focus of us and brings glory back to The Father. Some days it's easy but some days you just want to recognized. In those moments when I wanted to be seen God really did put a cover over, maybe He was protecting me from pride, but it was then where I shifted my heart to serve again. Which leads me to my next point.

2. Character.
Two words I can't get enough of this year, character development. Man oh man, from injury to constantly losing at battles, to losing a teaching position and even things slowing down at the studio. The battles this year was never ending. And to be real, I don't regret them. All of it was necessary for me to get to this point. It's as if God wanted me to experience to help those around me who are going through it. I used to be so hard on my students but I've become a bit more empathetic to their struggles both in and outside dance. And I've learnt as much as I want to win it can't be my whole identity, it's depressing really lol.

3. Timing and preparation
David was in the field fighting lions and bears before he faced Goliath. Sometimes God is preparing you for that one moment, where everyone is watching and you'll be able to face it with confidence. Just stay faithful in the work that God has you doing. Yes it's going to hard it's going to be difficult, but it ain't nothing you can't get through. Just don't let the moment God intended for to slip by, because David only needed one shot, and he made sure he was ready.
