October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to lift up those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. Today, we are praying for those who have been diagnosed, those currently going through treatment, and the survivors who continue to inspire us with their strength and perseverance. 💗

And let this be your reminder to schedule your yearly breast cancer screening if it’s due. Early detection can make a difference, so don’t put it off.

Lord, surround every woman affected by breast cancer with Your comfort, strength, peace, and hope. Hold them close through every step of the journey. Amen.

✝️ Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 reminds us that two are better than one because we can help one another when life gets difficult. ✝️

We all have seasons when our strength fades, our faith is tested, or we simply need someone to remind us of God’s promises. That’s why godly friendships matter. We need people who will pray with us, encourage us, speak truth in love, and help us get back up when we fall.

Just as importantly, we must be willing to do the same for others. Godly friendships aren’t just about walking together in good times; they’re about helping each other stand when life gets hard.

🔥 DON'T LET YOUR OIL RUN DRY.🪔🔥🪔

🕯The ten virgins all had lamps. All were waiting for the Bridegroom. But only five had prepared enough oil.

🕯And isn't that a picture of the modern believer?

🕯We can be busy doing things for Jesus while neglecting time with Jesus.

🕯We can attend church, serve in ministry, know the Scriptures… yet allow the secret place of intimacy with Him to grow cold.

🪔Your lamp may be visible to others, but your oil speaks of what is cultivated in secret.

🪔The oil reminds us of the importance of a living, intimate relationship with Jesus, nurtured through prayer, His Word, worship and abiding in His presence.

📖 “A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out.” — Leviticus 6:13 NKJV🔥🔥

👉Don't let the fire on the altar of your heart grow cold.

👉Return to His presence. Make room for Him daily. Keep your heart burning with love for Jesus.

💡Because when the midnight cry comes, there will be no time to borrow someone else's preparation......

🔥 Stay filled. Stay close. Stay ready.

The Bridegroom is coming.

Not everything deserves our time, our energy, or our attention. Some things are simply distractions that pull us away from what truly matters.

The opinions of others, the need to be right, temporary frustrations, and the pursuit of things that won’t last can consume our days if we let them.

As Christians, we must learn to focus on what has eternal value: our relationship with God, loving others, living out His Word, and sharing the hope of Jesus Christ. Life is too short to spend it majoring in the minor things. 🕊️

There comes a moment when faith requires more than simply believing. It requires answering the call.

Isaiah didn’t ask where he would go, how difficult it would be, or what it would cost. He simply answered:

“Here I am! Send me.”

That is the heart of a surrendered Christian — willing to stand, willing to serve, and willing to go wherever God leads.

You may not know what waits beyond the mountain. You may not have every answer. But you can still say yes to God.

“THE BULL BY THE HORNS?

Have you ever settled for something simply because it was what YOU wanted, without stopping to seek God’s will? (I could write a book on how many times I did!)

Maybe because you ran out of patience for His answer? 😝
Maybe you convinced yourself it was the right choice, only to discover that peace was missing.

Sometimes, we become so focused on making something work that we forget to ask whether God is leading us there. Prayerfully seeking His direction means surrendering our plans, desires, and expectations to Him. Remember, God’s peace is not the only measure of His will, but we should never ignore His Word or rush ahead of His guidance. 🕊️

Before we settle, remember to stop and seek Him.

Is your church preparing for its aging congregation?

As the population grows older, churches must consider how they can continue to serve, support, and include their senior members.

❓Are our buildings accessible?

❓Are we reaching those who can no longer attend in person?

❓Are we providing meaningful opportunities for older adults to serve, share their wisdom, and remain connected to the body of Christ?

✝️ Aging should never mean becoming invisible or forgotten. Scripture reminds us that older generations play a vital role in passing their faith to the next generation (Psalm 71:18). A church that prepares for its aging population honors those who helped build its foundation while ensuring they remain valued members of God's family.

ꜱᴇᴇᴋɪɴɢ ɢᴏᴅ’ꜱ ᴡɪʟʟ

How do we know the will of God for our lives? We start by looking at His Word.

✝️ 1 Thessalonians 5:15–18 gives us practical direction: pursue what is good, rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in every circumstance. ✝️

God’s will isn’t always revealed through a dramatic sign or an audible voice. Often, it becomes clearer as we walk in obedience to what He has already taught us. When we seek Him daily, surrender our own desires, and allow Scripture to guide our decisions, we learn to recognize the path He calls us to follow.
