Paul Dunlea and his Big Band brought the house down last night with his brilliantly curated concert, Swingin' in Time.

A tribute to the Jazz greats who have played on our stage over the decades, Paul was joined by soloists Tony Momrelle, Georgia Cécile, Jack O'Rourke, Laoise Leahy and Daisy Ní Ruaidh for a truly spectacular night of Jazz classics from stars such as Ella Fitzgerald, Mel Tormé, Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson, and Blossom Dearie.

The perfect finale to a trio of superb shows this Autumn as part of our 170th anniversary celebrations. Thank you to Paul, his wonderful band, the soloists and everyone involved in putting such an amazing show together!

Baltimore - Randy Newman (Lianne La Havas arrangement)

Had a big vocal off day for this recital and was so completely gutted about it, but I am so thankful to this wonderful crowd for helping me to turn the perspective. Before they are wonderful musicians, they are even more wonderful people.

I had so much fun transcribing this and setting it to a smaller ensemble, and they played it so fantastically! A very cute start to 2025🤍🤍 taken in MTU Cork School of Music by @daisy.niruaidh
