Yoda had the most beautiful, happy smile. He loved many things in his life. Most of all his family. So we are moving forward and celebrating the life our beautiful darling Yoda shared with us with hearts filled with gratitude. He had his Labrador sister Daisy and his human adult siblings Adam and Liam who loved him very much. And of course myself, his devoted mum. He had a wonderful life and is with us in our hearts and memories forever. Also, Daisy’s grief is a lot better now. Daisy the Good 🌼 Such a good little girl! We are getting through this time without our little best friend Yoda, together. I think at times now, it’s harder for Daisy. She misses her little companion so much. They snuggled up together with me and communicated in their own way at routine times and when noisy events occurred outside, and so on. There is no replacing a best friend or relative. Only offering more love, understanding and time with each other. This was taken today on a very spring like August afternoon in Sydney’s inner west. A little ai post my gorgeous son Liam sent me when our baby boy Yoda passed away. Daisy and I are coping better now. There are still hard times each day. Especially routine times like feeding, toileting and bedtime. At least I can move around the house now without feeling like my actual shadow is missing. For anyone who has recently lost a pet, or still struggling with the pain of losing a loved one, I understand ❤️🩵💖 taken in Sydney, Australia by @daisyandyodadogs

Rest in Peace our little baby boy Yoda. You lived 12 years and 3 months with a heart murmur. It wasn’t until the past few months you needed medication for it. I thought we had longer. But your heart condition progressed so very fast. Our final selfie was taken the day before you passed away. We had a good day. You played in the garden, ate your food after refusing often (and losing a lot of weight) ate a Schmacko and a dentastick. I was feeling positive. We had lots of cuddles of course. On Monday evening, everything changed. None of your medication would help you anymore. It was your time and in the early hours of Tuesday morning, your body finally relaxed and you could pass away in peace. 💔 ❤️ Daisy and I are absolutely devastated! We move around the house and can’t see, hear or feel you. We have lost our little shadow and a piece of our hearts.
