Gradu-LA!!

Spending my last semester away from Ithaca was weird beyond belief, but the people I met there and the day 1 friends I came back to graduate with were worth it. Gonna miss this place and it’s freaky magic till the cows come home. Until next time Ithaca 🫶🏻 by @daisybforfun

SWINE in Maine is WRAPPED!

When @clairedelany_ told me about her script from high school which she turned into a feature, and then BACK into a short prequel, I was hooked. The story of a girl learning her way after assault was captivating, quiet but honest, and relatable. Working on this new version of a years-old story was an honor. Watching Claire grow as a storyteller and creator was awe-inspiring, and growing together as creative partners has been the coolest part of this story. Thanks for your trust and your vision Claire.

To the swine crew and production team: WHAT THE FUCK. YOU GUYS ROCK. Genuinely the most hardworking, flexible, kind, funny, and talented group of people ever. It took us 6+ months to produce this and it was worth every minute. Thank you for traveling tons of hours and miles and sleeping very few hours to make this happen in the middle of the woods in Maine. It’s going to be beautiful because of you.

We still have one weekend in Ithaca of shooting, but 10 rolls of film later we have (most of) a movie!! Shooting this film on 16mm was my dream and a landmark project for me. The donors, the crew, and the incredible trust from actors Ifeoma, Jonah, and Nanette made that happen. Thanks for letting me stick my light meter in your face constantly.

More to come. OINK!
