🧶 crochet with me🧶
A huge thank you to @knitproeu for #gifting me this gorgeous KnitPro Vybe set of crochet hooks! With the pretty in pastel shades, lightweight to hold, rose gold finish and ergonomic grip, it’s been my new go to set as I’ve been crocheting away for my upcoming market. Loving the soft but secure case to keep them in, it’s been easy to throw into a project bag for on the go makes ☺️

Here I am crocheting with the 4mm size, my most used hook size and it was a breeze… making some new cute ghosties 👻

🎃✨Hello October✨🎃
Pumpkin season is finally here hehe! I’m excited for all the autumny fun during this new month, from pumpkin picking to Halloween crafts… but especially excited for the @exetercathedral Autumn Fair 🍂 I’m so happy I’ll be back this year, bringing my autumnal goodies PLUS Christmas decorations too 🎄 Yay!

🎈Alfie’s 2🎈
And just like that, little Alfie is 2! I don’t know where the last 2 years have gone, they’ve vanished in a whirlwind of happy chaos raising sweet Alfie to be the wonderful little human he is 🥰 I can’t wait to see what this next year brings!

I made Alfie this cute cardigan for his special day, and luckily he loves it 🚜🐷🐮🐴 I saw this tractor and animal pattern and just had to make it, designed by @wilkywooly and the cardigan pattern by @babycrochetdesigns . The perfect combo!

Swipe through to see the cardigan I made for his first birthday, Spider was his first proper word (aside from mama/dada mumblings) so I made it themed to incy wincy spider 🕷️🌞💦

It’s been a joy to make both, and hopefully a tradition he’ll want to continue as he grows 🥹

Hello lovelies,
Happy new season 🍁✨ It’s officially pumpkin season, hehe! I’m looking forward to cosy moments, autumn leaves and all things pumpkin 🎃 What are you looking forward to this new season?

I’ve got two wonderful things happening soon, the first is my pumpkin workshop at @woolontheexe 🎃 A cosy autumnal crochet workshop on Friday 2nd October, link in bio if you fancy booking on.
And the second is I’m very excited to announce I’ll be at the magical @exetercathedral Autumn Fair again this year, showcasing my autumn offerings and some festive cuties too ✨🍂 I can’t wait! 🍁Happy September🍁

Hello lovelies,
Happy new month, I’m welcoming this new season full of gratitude for how busy and full of sunshine this summer has been - from beach trips to park walks and many ice creams for little Alfie 🌞 But, I’m ready for the ‘ber months, for cosy moments, autumn leaves and all that the last few months of the year have to offer 🌻🎃✨

I couldn’t resist sharing this beautiful @cornwallcrochet sunny granny square blanket I’ve slowly been working on, I purchased the kit last year as a little postpartum present to myself and I’ve only made a few squares so far but it’s a gorgeous design, I can’t wait to work on it more 🌞😍

Hello my lovelies,
Happy new week & all the summer vibes! This past couple of weeks have been full of dreamy beachy days with little Alfie & family 🌊☀️🐚 He’s so enjoying exploring, from splashing in the sea to finding pretty shells and building sand castles for his car collection! Watching Alfie really get into summery activities this year is just so cute 🥰

How’s your summer so far?

I’ve got a lovely crochet rainbow workshop coming up on Saturday 8th August at @woolontheexe 🌈 I’ll add the booking info to stories if you fancy coming along!

I’m also looking ahead to the next seasons and hope to have a small collection of ready made stock to release 👀🤞🏼 I’m finding it really hard to carve any time out to do much crochet with a bouncy toddler, but I feel the pumpkins and pigs in blankets calling me hehe! Would there be interest in a small ready made stock drop?

Hello lovelies!
Remember me?! I seem to have blinked and a month has gone by… in that time there’s been never ending heatwaves, I broke my little toe (that’s still painful and not healing well!), had to exchange my car after some sudden issues with my (much loved) old car, and been on a family trip to Bude! With lots of fun times with friends & family sprinkled in too. Alfie is full wonderful toddler, and has been full of beans (who needs sleep anyway?! Ha) ☺️ Keeping him cool and happy during the heat has been a challenge, but we’re surviving ☀️

Oh aaaand… I did write up a pattern for these adorable flowers 🌼 which then sort of got shelved as life took over, I’m considering doing a bit of a pattern tester call for it, if there would be any interest? 🌿

So… how’s hot July been treating you? Hope you’re all keeping as cool and safe as possible in all this heat we’ve been experiencing 🌞 L x by @daisychainmakes

Weekend vibes 🌞 Some days all you need is some vitamin sea with your little bestie 🌊 A day spent playing with sand (crunchy sand is now Alfie’s fave aha!), eating ice cream and spending some quality time chilling together.. lucky us 🥰
