25 years ago I went through the most traumatic expirence of my life when i made my way through flesh to breathe my first breath (equally traumatic for my mother i’m sure, love you mumma!)

I never thought this last year would have brought me so much magic! Now that I am officially a big kid I’m excited for what this next year will bring, hopefully lots more creating art with the people i love and getting to meet a million new creatures hehe !!!

I think 15 year old me who used to photoshop herself to look like Kylie Jenner would be sooo hype that 25 year old me is at least semi confident in who I am and is bold enough to try and bring my ideas to life 🌟

Star Cats (Days 1 +2)🌟
MEOW !! It’s been over a week since we wrapped Star Cats and i’m still living in la la land. I can’t believe i got to make a movie with so many amazing people !! Working with all my best friends on a project I wrote and directed was beyond magical for me. I also met so many incredible people in the process and just feel forever grateful for all the hard work people poured into bringing this to life. Every day on set was an absolute joy.
I can’t wait to share more photos and eventually get to share this film with everyone 💗

One year ago, while working on Baby Teeth, we discover a kitty in the woods. Suddenly my job changed from Costumer to Cat Wrangler and I spent 3 hours on the phone trying to find some help to get a skinny, sad looking cat out of the woods. I know if any of my cats were missing I would want someone to do anything they could to help bring them home to me, so I was determined to get him somewhere safe and see if he had and family who was missing him. Finally with the help of some amazing people we were able to get him into a bin and carry him up the park to my car. From there I took him to multiple places until finally we found a shelter that would take him. A week later I called the shelter to check how he was doing, and despite over 300 reposts no one claimed him. I felt in my heart he was meant to be my buddy.
Flash forward a year later and Biney has grown to be the happiest and most playful kitty ever. He went from being small and skeletal, to the healthiest boy with a big appetite.

The most important part of this post is, if you see an animal that looks out of place please say something. Most cats that are missing from their families are seen by passerby’s who assume they aren’t missing. Make a post in your local neighbourhood groups, even if they aren’t missing and are someone’s outdoor cat it’s always good to check. You might just reunite an animal with their family, or help them find a loving home.

This post is long so I won’t say much more but please look out for the animals around you 💗 The last 6 slides are all photos of Biney when we found him and his journey to the shelter. One month till we film Star Cats !! I can’t put into words the mix of excitement, nerves, and especially the gratitude I feel. I am beyond blessed to have the most amazing group of people helping create this film with me🩵

Happy Autism Awareness Day 🩵
I used to be a little undiagnosed girl who was so scared of the world around her and so uncomfortable with being myself.
Getting diagnosed changed my life and it’s been an intense but beautiful journey learning about myself and unmasking.

Autism has been a big topic of conversation in the media lately. So much harmful misinformation is spread, like that vaccines and tylenol cause autism. I think it’s important to remember Autistic people are still people! Misinformation directly harms the autism community and the support that is offered. I hope people will start researching more in depth and stop fear mongering a disability. Autism isn’t the problem, lack of support for families and individuals who need help is.

I’m grateful to my mumma for helping me through my diagnosis and being so supportive of me no matter what. I hope the little girl I used to be is proud of me for learning to advocate for myself 💗 by @daisyjanemars
