I bought TWO fragrances today… and honestly, I’m not sure which one I’m more excited to wear because they smell ridiculously expensive. 😮‍💨🔥

Floris London – Leather Oud 🖤
This one is rich, dark and unapologetically luxurious.
Think fresh leather + smoky oud, with bergamot up top, a spicy/floral heart of carnation, geranium & patchouli, before settling into oud, earthy vetiver and warm woody amber.

It smells like confidence, tailored clothes and walking into a room knowing you don’t need to announce yourself. 😮‍💨

Then there’s…

Gypsy Story – North to Poltava ❤️‍🔥
Now THIS one takes a different route.
It opens with dark raspberry and saffron, moves into a soft, powdery rose & jasmine heart, then gets seriously addictive with vanilla, oud, rum, amber and patchouli in the drydown.

Sweet. Spicy. Fruity. Warm. Sensual.
The kind of fragrance that makes someone lean in and ask:

“What are you wearing?” 👀

And that’s exactly why I picked these two.

One says “quiet luxury.”
The other says “come a little closer.”

If you love fragrances that smell expensive, create a presence and leave people wondering what you’re wearing, these two deserve a spot on your radar.

Fragheads, be honest: have you ever sprayed two perfumes together “just to see what happens”… and accidentally created your new signature scent?

For years, I thought finding my signature scent meant finding The One.

One perfect perfume. One bottle. One unmistakable scent that would become me.

Then I discovered perfume layering.

And suddenly, the rules changed.

It started innocently enough: one perfume I loved felt slightly too predictable. So I sprayed a different perfume underneath it.

At first, nothing happened.

Then twenty minutes later, I smelled my wrist.

Wait.

What was that?

The combo had changed the entire personality of the fragrance. When woods felt warmer, the florals creamier, and somehow the combo smelled like the “me” i wanted that moment rather than something I originally bought.

That was the moment I fell down the rabbit hole.

Some combinations are gorgeous while some are disasters.

But that’s the addictive part of layering perfumes.

You’re not just making a fragrance stronger. You’re creating something that doesn’t exist in a bottle.

And for fragrance lovers, that’s the magic.

Anyone can own the same viral perfume.

But nobody has exactly your skin, your collection, your combinations, and your taste.

Maybe that’s why perfume layering has become such an “thing” among fragheads. We’re not really searching for one perfect scent anymore.

We’re experimenting.

We’re creating.

We’re turning perfumes we already own into something completely new.

So perhaps the goal isn’t to find your signature scent after all.

Maybe it’s to create a signature scent for every version of yourself.

And if that means standing in front of your perfume shelf at 8 a.m., holding two completely unrelated bottles and thinking, “What if…?”

Well, so be it! 😄

I am someone who hardly steps out of the house except it’s for work and family time. For once since I have stepped in London, @scentstoriesbymowa was the 1st event I went to without the family 😂. And I had a wonderful time.

All roads led to Radisson Blu yesterday for @scentstoriesbymowa (a fragrance discovery Experience). I had a lovely time discovering different fragrances. Fragrance houses like;
