“Hands to the Ball”A phrase I say almost every lesson or at bat. But what does it mean? Keeping it simple.No extra movements, no crazy loads, nothing other than hands to the ball. Literally. Here’s what to do and what to work:-With two tees, line one up to hit out in front, and one further back. Both with balls on them.-Make sure the back ball is lower than the front tee, with advancement, you can raise it lil by lil. (This allows there to be a direct path to the ball, but with the challenge of not dropping your hands)-Most import, trust your hands and go for it. It’s okay if you hit the back ball a few times. Hitting where the ball is pitched!A lil 3/4 session with Ms Soph @galvan_1986 Being able to hit to all parts of the field makes hitters super dangerous. As hitters, the first thing we have to do is train our eyes to recognize where that pitch is going as soon as it leaves the pitchers hand. Once we recognize whether that pitch is in or out, we have to ADJUST our timing to wait on it or fire a little quicker. Another season of softball. This was one was not pretty, not easy, and we most definitely did not get the result I, nor the team wanted. But overall, I am very grateful that I had my 3rd season here in Leon despite it all! Thank you to all the fans, staff, coaches, and my amazing teammates. It was an incredible fight by @daisysoftball
