The most comfortable headphones start with a better headband.
True comfort comes from distributing pressure evenly across every point of contact. That makes the headband more than a structural component—it’s the foundation of the entire comfort system.

A formed spring-steel core establishes the clamping force of the headphone. Its thickness, curvature, and heat treatment determine the spring behavior, so small changes to any of them noticeably change how the headphone loads the head.

Surrounding that core is a flexible TR90 polyamide structure. The material has high flexural-fatigue resistance, allowing the headband to repeatedly open, flex, and return to its intended geometry without relying on a rigid plastic shell.

We then shaped the contour of the band to distribute that force around the head instead of concentrating the headphone’s weight at the crown. Ultra-soft memory foam underneath conforms to the wearer and spreads the remaining pressure across the contact surface.

The headband is effectively a tuned spring system: steel controls the force, geometry controls where that force goes, and TR90 and memory foam control how it reaches the wearer. by @daisysound

A headphone driver doesn’t perform in isolation. The acoustic volume around it matters just as much.

Daisy One uses a dedicated driver cavity to give the transducer its own controlled acoustic environment inside the earcup. By defining that internal volume intentionally, we’re able to better control how the driver loads, how energy moves through the system, and how consistently it performs. by @daisysound

We designed Daisy One to fit a wider range of head sizes.
Most over-ear headphones offer around 40 mm of slider extension. Daisy One extends 45 mm. That extra 5 mm might not sound like much, but when we were testing Daisy across different head sizes and shapes, it made a meaningful difference. More adjustment gives the earcups room to sit where they’re supposed to, especially on larger heads.
It’s a small change to a pretty standard part of a headphone, but it helps make Daisy comfortable for more people. by @daisysound
