yalllll, I won’t even get into a long testimony in this caption.. I’ll save that for Youtube… BUT I will talk about how GOOD God is and how I’m grateful and blessed that Jesus brought me back to Him and the truth. it’s so important to read His Word for ourselves and get to know Him for ourselves. beyond religious trauma, the ego, and word of mouth…

I never imagined myself not being the way I was spiritually, practicing all the things I was before, being self righteous and living in idolatry…

but when I say I’m SO GLAD I’m not who I was a month ago.. it brings me to tears. to surrender, to LET GO.. to trust God and know that we truly owe him all the Glory. such a peaceful feeling.

Christ consciousness is not the same as a life in Christ, and that’s where I was missing the mark before… thank you Jesus for revealing to me your goodness. life feels SO NEW and I’m just so excited to keep growing in faith and knowing Him and His Word more and more.

WE ARE ALOUD TO CHANGE, in fact… ITS NECESSARY🙏🏽✝️✨

and thank God for this anointing that is my GIFT🥹 stream my new song 🌟

grieving who i used to be has been heavy.

not because i miss her or the things i used to do, like, or identify with. but sometimes i miss the ease that came with being careless. the version of me that didn’t have to count the cost of obedience.

when you encounter Jesus, and i mean truly encounter Him, when you choose to truly follow Him and the Holy Spirit begins to transform you, it is literally rebirth. staying the same is no longer possible.

the woman i was gets eulogized, and this new creation in Christ, this woman i’m becoming, begins to emerge.

honestly, it feels like i’m in a cocoon becoming a butterfly.

i once heard someone say, “sometimes the season of grief is over, and God is calling you out of the shadows of grief. but that doesn’t mean the feeling of grief has gone away.”

for me that meant…

even though i’m grieving, and the old me is in a grave, i’m still going to happily stomp on that grave and keep giving God my yes every time He calls me. even when it’s hard. even when i’m grieving.

because what’s waiting for me on the other side of obedience is worth far more than anything i had to bury. by @daiygemonet

this week has been so emotionally and spiritually testing. I found myself sad a lot this week and sometimes being a single mom, it’s feels like you just can’t catch a break. like you don’t have a moment to even cry or process emotions… but no matter how down I feel. remembering that God chose me for her and allowed us to b on this journey, because He sees me as capable brings me back into His peace.
also, knowing that even though it feels lonely sometimes, I’m not alone🤍
