Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by, listened, supported us, and showed us some love. Huge shoutout to all our friends who came out and even jumped in to jam with us. It made the night even more special.

It was an awesome experience getting to play our music out in the community, and we hope to be back out again next Friday. Come hang out and jam with us if you’re around!

😵‍💫 Having ADHD is such a struggle, especially as a musician. I constantly feel drained and struggle to stay motivated. Practice routines never seem to work for my brain, and focusing can be really difficult. ADHD affects more than just music. It makes everyday life harder too.

Any other fellow musicians out there that struggle with the same thing? If so, comment some tips for me to try out! 🎵🎸 by @daiyondoband_

@p_terrys if you’re reading this, you mean a lot to the music community here in Austin, more than you probably realize. I don’t think there’s ever been a time my band didn’t eat at P. Terry’s before or after a gig. It’s our go to spot every single time. As college students, it’s affordable, consistently high quality, and honestly way better than most fast food. We also really admire everything you stand for, from supporting the community to giving back whenever you can. We’d love the chance to perform for you someday! let’s make this happen! by @daiyondoband_

Why does City Pop sound so addictive? 🎹✨

In this video, we break down the music theory behind City Pop, including the famous II V I chord progression, the history of City Pop, and how Western artists like Steely Dan helped shape its signature sound. If you love Japanese music, music theory, jazz harmony, or 80s Japanese music, this one is for you 🇯🇵🎸

We couldn’t cover everything that makes City Pop so unique in one video. We’ve already made a video diving into the Royal Road chord progression, but if there’s another specific topic you’d like us to explore, such as City Pop production techniques, music theory concepts, artists, or other influences behind the genre, let us know and we can make a dedicated video about it! 🎶 by @daiyondoband_

🎌 Have you ever wondered why anime openings sound so good? 👀

Today we’re breaking down the Royal Road chord progression, the progression behind countless anime openings and J-pop songs. 🎸🎶

By the end of this video, you’ll understand why it sounds so emotional and how to use it in your own music. ✨ by @daiyondoband_
