How has it already been 9 months since the first time I held you in my arms? The same amount of time it took for you to grow inside of me til you were ready for the world. How lucky am I to be here with you everyday to watch your curious mind work through discovering new things and developing new skills. I have loved every day of these past 9 months (x2) getting to know and love you, thank you for choosing me as your mama. Now let’s slow it down, cuz before we know it, you’ll be 1! by @daiz15

✨Meet Daisy Mitchell ✨

Varsity Dance Team Coach | Choreographer | Dance Educator

Daisy Mitchell has been a dedicated member of Nevada County’s dance community for over two decades and began her teaching career locally in 2005. A proud alumna of both Sierra Dance Institute and the Nevada Union Dance program, Daisy continued her dance training and education at San Jose State University, building a strong foundation in both performance and choreography.

Throughout her professional career, Daisy has performed with several distinguished organizations, including the San Francisco 49ers, Sacramento Mountain Lions, Stockton Eagles, and Sacramento Heatwave Dance Team. Her extensive performance experience brings a dynamic, real-world perspective to every class and rehearsal.

Committed to lifelong learning, Daisy continues to refine her artistry through advanced training at Sac Dance Lab and leading regional and national dance conventions. Her passion for dance, combined with her positive energy and supportive teaching style, inspires dancers to develop confidence, technical excellence, and a genuine love for movement.

At Nevada Union Dance, Daisy serves as the Varsity Dance Team Coach, teaches weekly Hip Hop and Jazz Fusion Community Enrichment Classes, and choreographs for dancers across all levels of the program. Her dedication to fostering both strong technique and meaningful connections has made her a beloved mentor and role model for countless students.❤️ taken in Nevada Union High School by @daiz15
