“You couldn’t live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me.”

First time i went to @inandoutresturant_ it was not worth the hype and i thought it was shit. That was before i was a credited full time food reviewer.

First off, there was nothing in and out about this experience. We went to a location in southern Tennessee and to be honest it had the attendance of a theme park.

We had to park down the street and walk to it and then it was so full every table was completely covered and people were sitting outside on the ground eating.

The common man would turn around and leave, but DakeatsMeats sees this as nothing more than a challenge and a testament to his reviews and how all these people would be very excited to read about these. So as any true critic we waited.

first time i went was awful. I was most displeased with the fries. I may have bitched about it for 30 mins on the way there because i am passionate about these things. My secretary was prompted to do some research and told me about the animal fries option so thats what i went with above.

Another issue. If you look at the menu you see very cheap prices and think this is why everyone’s raving about this place, upon further inspection you’ll notice it’s not for the combo only single items. So that’s another gimmick we ran across of trying to drive sells.

After getting inside, and fighting a family off for a table we were able to order and relax. Surprisingly our food only took about 30 mins which for the amount of people there was genuinely impressive.

Onto the food:
Animal fries: this is an experiment can the worst fries in the world be made better with cheese and onions. The answer is yes they were edible. Another fan came up and told me “well done” is another way to be able to actually eat your fries. Here’s an idea @inandoutresturant_ if everyone has to specialty order your fries. They probably fucking suck!

Animal burger: when i ordered the lady said hey would you like your burger animal style too? The burger is delicious I’m not gonna lie. It’s not the best burger or worst. Pretty good for “fast food”

Overall not worth the hype

Have you ever been in&out ? (Giggty) by @dakeatsmeats

Bonas Dias compadres!

Today’s review we are out in rocky top tasting some different restaurants on the road!

We were in Nashville Tennessee, and i saw about 3 @velvettaco and decided we would try some of that furry taco!

We walk in the door and notice a hipster/ modern vibe. Neon pink lights, beer for sale it seemed like a very cool place to eat.

The waitress had a septum ring and pink hair that matched the neon sign so i was alittle worried about how Hispanic food would work from here but i was already in to deep.

I went with the brisket nacho bowl and side of street corn.

This was the best food i ate in Nashville and set the bar very high.

Brisket nacho: 8.2/10 super good every bite was awesome the cheese covered the whole bowl. the black chips matched the cashiers vibe of just trying very hard to be different and guess what i dig it!

The street corn 6.5/10- it was basically cheesy corn which was very good. But lost some points for not being on the cob i know what your doing with that can of corn @velvettaco and i don’t like it.

Overall i really enjoyed it and will have it every time im drunk in Nashville.

I have a few more food reviews i will spread out throughout the week!

Like and comment if you ever wanted to try the velvet taco or girl with septum piercings?

Have you had it? What did you think? by @dakeatsmeats

Did you miss me?

I got to thinking what’s something i haven’t tried that everyone has an opinion on and that brought me to chain of all chains (wing only) @americandeli.

So when i think American deli, i think walking into a Hispanic wing place cause all the workers are always foreign which is okay, but i do notice it.

I went 5 hot 5 Thai sweet chili fries and cola. Nuff said i did all the leg work with that order it’s pretty hard to f it up.

Rating 7.6/10. This blows Wingstop out the water (go figure) it was extremely delicious and they are no shy about giving you all the fries. Not exactly Mr.wings good but for convenience it’s the perfect wing spot.

I would recommend calling ahead if you go in there and order your what i would call a retard. It takes them 25 mins to cook the food or you can just show up when’s it ready.

Bonus points 👍🏼our location is 24/7 which makes it the #1 spot after a long night of whatcha ma call it.

Do you have an American deli? Is it ran by foreigners ?

Let us know what you think in the comments!

Where should we go next! by @dakeatsmeats

You asked for darker and we got as dark as we could get @kris_napier

Today we reviewed Mr.Wings in Columbus,Ga. The main thing we learned in the review today is how important it is to separate the food from the server!

The vibe here is awesome more tvs than tables, super drunk dudes at the bar yelling at the tv keeping the enthusiasm high and the perfect dive/sport bar.

The server was shit, after i ordered the drink and the appetizer 25 min she came back with a Diet Coke.

The food on the other hand was spectacular, best wings I’ve had since the start of the channel and als who can beat those happy hour deals, where can you get a 6$ dollar Long Island Tea????

Long Island tea: lowkey shit but got me buzzing so it served its purpose , if anybody tells you they like the taste of a Long Island send them to AA.

Cheese sticks: also shit this came out 25 min after being there and i lowkey thought it was about to be a terrible experience 5/10

Wings and Fries: 8/10 - 15 min after ordered i started tracking time cause i was pissed af and thought we were gonna be there for 2 hours, wings were 6 hot 6 sweet Thai chili and they were big juicy and hot and delicious . Best wings since the channel has started. the fries were delicious, were probably the second best we’ve had so far

The vibe is perfect for a sports/ dive bar overall we give it a 8/10 can’t blame the restaurant for one crackhead server , times are tough

It’s got super cheap drinks and sports on every wall, i can’t name a better place to go watch the game with the guys. Comment if you ever ate a chicken wing. by @dakeatsmeats

Familia, imma be very honest this has been my favorite review I’ve done in my long tenured career as critic. So much so i decided to write it while still in the booth.

Today, im at longhorns in opelika,Alabama. This food was delicious in more ways than one.

I had a 12 ounce ribeye, salad, fries with 2 old fashions and a starter bread.

Complete transparency the bread is “alright” and is the only part of the meal i would trade for something better 5/10

The salad is delicious and sets the tone for a solid ass meal. Cold lettuce, plenty of ranch and toppings letting you know early longhorn is willing to splurge. 7/10

The old fashion is kick ass especially if you know the bartender. 2 will make you feel like you can slip out without paying or being noticed. 9.1/10

The steak and fries- this is what keeps me coming back, the steak is so juicy and well cooked it cuts better than that shitty ass bread they start you off with. I’m talking butter smooth,

the fries are hot and crispy something i would be proud to put up against any other fry in the area. Without a doubt my favorite steak and meal combo.

Put me on death row tomorrow and i ask for longhorns ribeye meal with some old fashions to ease the pain. Give the bread to somebody else tho. Rating 9.1/10 (dakeats meats record) overall

If you ever come to longhorns in opelika ask for Levi and tell them you know dakeatsmeats for a critic discount by @dakeatsmeats

Good Afternoon folks,

We are back!

I had to slow the pace of my reviews as sponsors were starting to feel the effects of eating out everyday. (Pockets and tummy) But we are back!

With one our followers favorite foods @vnldrip_247 today we ate YARDBIRDs!

To give you the vibe , it’s like a mom and pop wing shop in the middle of a small town white town. Think of gentrification but in wings and chicken tenders.

When it comes to flavor and heat yard birds does not pack any punch. The food is warm and tasty i enjoy eating here but in order to even taste some heat you gotta order hot wings ( still not hot).

The restaurant has old timers vibe and you’ll always see one or two good ol boys when you walk in.

The restaurant is ran by local highschoolers which does an have an effect truly.

It’s in the side of a gas station so you shouldn’t expect much, but i will say in quality of food it’s one of the higher level wing places in our area.

Not even close, way better than Wingstop (just gonna say that every time)

Now rating the food:
Hot wings and fries plate: i say plate cause they don’t allow it to be a combo so they don’t have to give you a drink (kinda ass). Wings are hot but in any other restaurant in the world would be mild at best. Fries and toast bang. The ranch is the most watery I’ve ever had and does bother be a lot. Quality food that taste good but sauce and ranch could definitely use some work.

Actual wing- the wing is bigger than most in our are, good quality and cooked well. The only issue i can bring up is the sauce.

Rate : 6.8/10 ( quit watering down ranch fr )

Mozz sticks: these are super hit or miss. When ordering at the restaurant to eat there always quality super great and i love them. However if you take these out to eat i think they let them sit in the window for a hour so they get cold and ruin your day. Rate 4/10-8/10 depending on the day.

Overall yardbirds is great. If i was to describe it to anyone i would say it is a white persons wing place and that can be taken however you receive it.

If ketchup is spicy to you, i would give this place a go it would be right up your alley! by @dakeatsmeats

POCO LOCOS !
By fan request: @kris_napier

When in Rome do as the Roman’s do. when in Poco Locos on a Wednesday (marg special night) you drink margs till your worried about driving home.

This is one of those mexican restaurants where you walk in and see 7 people you know and wonder if they have been counting the number of times the waitress has brought you a margarita.

You may also listen to the family in the booth next to you gossip about there cousins and there custody battle, who got the latest dui in the facebook neighborhood watch or you can also watch the little league baseball team come in and try and guess how many of the moms are sleeping with the coach.

This a sweet spot right inside Smiths Station, Alabama in my opinion it’s either this or jrs and that’s all that’s on the table in this little city.

Poco Locos does it the right way, they know what you want cheap food and a good time. I went with the steak quesadilla and street corn because I’m an avid corn fan.

This food is just like an old beat up truck. The same everywhere you go, everyone’s has got one, but it always shows up and gets the job done.

Ratings: 🌽 street corn is the most basic I’ve ever had and honestly is not anything special. I would prefer pretty much any other street corn but i enjoy this version more than rice and beans still. Score 5/10

Steak quesadilla: nothing special, you know exactly what you’re getting. This isn’t gonna blow your mind but it’s also not gonna leave you hungry. Rate 7/10

Margs: they are delicious and make all your food taste so much better. I’m a firm believer in 1 is for chips and queso 2 is for your meal and 3 is to hold you over till you get home.

Poco Locos is my favorite Mexican restaurant has of now. Overall as an establishment i rate it 8/10 and would recommend it to all my hermanos.

Today at work was Food Truck day! So i decided i would use this opportunity to shout out some hard working entrepreneurs!

When it comes to a food truck especially in Columbus, Ga it’s all about finding the culture.

I saw plenty of options but Rocs Wings and Thangs caught my eye in a way that told me i was going to be taken to “Flava Town”

I ordered a 4 pcs mild wing/ fries ( not sure i can do hot wings with roc.) and as i waited patiently the vendor next to his caught my eye.

It was a solo mission one man making Phillies and selling them so i had to respect the hustle and drop him one of the tickets they gave us.

As you can see in the picture it came with 6 wings. That’s the love you get in Colga when you’re a big time food critic like me. The culture fucks with Dak. I told him this would not sway my opinion and i promised to be completely unbiased in my review. He understood and said he was just a big fan and wanted to show his appreciation for the account.

Wings and fries: solid food way better than Wingstop- not sugar on fries/ sauce was alil sweet but i didn’t pick hot so that’s okay. We’re going 7/10 👍🏼

Og Philly- so if you can get over it looking like absolute shit the Philly actually was pretty delicious. It tasted great the meat was well cooked and season but the cheese was alittle excessive. 6.7 🥪

Strawberry Lemonade: 7.5/10 🍋 fresh squeezed and made to order. Very delicious but took forever and there was only 3 people in front of me, but like all good things sometimes you just gotta wait.

I’d recommend all 3 vendors to family and friends, wings were very similar to wing city which I’m famously a big fan of. by @dakeatsmeats

In Honor of it being the pages first day, we had to double up with a 2 review day.

For dinner, we decided to head to Jrs Steakhouse, the pride of Smiths Station, Alabama

Now i will say as a younger man myself the first thing you notice when you walk in, is that everyone looks like they either invented cooking or are about to eat there last meal and turn to dust.

Which wouldn’t be a bad thing cause Jrs steakhouse is DELICIOUS!

I had the 10 ounce ribeye medium rare (cooked perfectly) paired with there fries and a house salad.

I will say i have no idea wtf is going on with this salad and think it does ruin the score a little bit.

The fries are pretty bland but are standard house cut fries.

The Steak is the highlight of the meal and obviously of my day as well. Some old guy has definitely had a stroke after biting into this bad boy.

Rating is gonna have to be a 8/10. ( no booze offered)

My lady friend also had a club sandwich but rating is not included cause i didn’t eat it duh. by @dakeatsmeats

FIRST REVIEW 🚨

Congrats to WingStop for being my first review!

However i do not have great things to say.

The hot wing was ….. very dull not a lot of flavor or heat

The other flavor ( Korean )was okay but alittle sweet and should NOT be listed in the heat section of the menu.

The fries were alright ( big fry lover) really dont understand the need for sugar and would have been a lot happier with just salt.

Overall my final rating is 6.5/10 😞
Edible but can’t see how there anybody’s favorite

The propaganda on line had me very excited to try Wingstop but i will say most nonchain restaurants have better wings. (Even cheaper as well)

Have you had Wingstop? Am i trippin? Comment if i need to give it another go! by @dakeatsmeats
