Stop letting the way you see yourself limit what God wants to do through you.

In Judges 6, when God called Gideon, Gideon saw his weaknesses. He saw his family’s status, his own limitations, and all the reasons he wasn’t qualified. But God saw something different.

And how often do we do the same thing?

We disqualify ourselves because of our insecurities, past mistakes, lack of confidence, or the version of ourselves we’ve become accustomed to seeing. We focus so much on who we think we are that we forget who God says we are.

But your self-image should never have more authority than God’s Word.

You don’t have to feel strong to be used by God. You don’t have to have it all together to walk in your calling. And you don’t have to see everything God sees in you to take the next step in obedience.

Sometimes, the very thing holding you back isn’t a lack of purpose. It’s the way you perceive yourself.

Stop agreeing with the limitations God never placed on you. Start agreeing with what He says about you🫶🏾

You are not defined by your insecurities. You are not disqualified by your weaknesses. Let God’s truth shape the way you see yourself, so you can walk boldly in what He’s called you to do. by @dakeylaa

A gentle reminder to slow down and be present for the life God has given you. 🩷

Sometimes we become so focused on what’s next that we forget to appreciate what God has already placed right in front of us.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us that “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

Not every season is meant to be rushed through. Some seasons are meant to be savored. To love deeply, celebrate the people around us, create memories, and recognize God’s goodness in the everyday moments.

Lately, I’m learning that being present is also a form of gratitude. It’s choosing to steward the time, relationships, and blessings God has entrusted to me instead of constantly looking ahead to what’s next.

So here’s your reminder: Don’t get so caught up preparing for your next season that you miss the beauty of the one God has you in right now🫶🏾 by @dakeylaa

A lot can happen in just a year! 🩷

The last time I was consistently sharing here, I was preparing to become a wife.

Now I’m married and preparing for motherhood.

I took a step back from creating because I was busy living the very life I had been praying for.
