My first ever album is out today and the only words that come to mind are thank you.

Thank you to my parents for singing to me in the womb and for telling me my voice has value. Thank you to my teachers and directors who pushed me to hone my skills and gave me new perspectives on music and life. Thank you to my friends who have given me a family beyond family. Thank you to my family for always being there and encouraging me to keep going. Thank you to my bandmates over the years who have held the most vulnerable parts of me through the stages of musical creation and brought me so much untethered joy. Thank you to the engineers and supporters who have made my vision a reality. And thank you to my whole community for the support you show me to keep creating. I love you to the edge of our never ending universe 🩵

6 months ago, I made this little girl’s dreams come true and released my debut album

This last November when I sat back stage awaiting my album release show, I had no idea if anyone was even going to be there in the audience to hear all I had been crafting. When I walked on stage, not only was it a packed house, but it was a packed house of open hearts and loving faces who stepped with me into my world. Since then I have been so touched by all the friends and strangers who have shared with me all the ways they see themselves in this album. These songs are deeply personal and were written in some of the most vulnerable times of my life. Making this music was my medicine and I knew I had to share it with whoever would listen with the hope that even one person would find the healing that I have through these songs.

Over the next couple months, I can’t wait to share with you the stories behind the songs. I’ve been filled with gratitude for everyone who gave their time, talent, and hearts to this project.

Thank you all for journeying with me to The Edge of Our Never Ending Universe
