Why sell books at a bike show?

Because these are my people.
Most authors want a cozy bookstore. I’d rather have gravel, chrome, and a campfire and I’ve never been much for library voices. Put me in a field full of choppers, music, and folks who’d rather ride than talk about riding, and I’m right at home.

So when it came time to take the Wayward Run series on the road, Born Free Texas was the obvious first stop.

These books were written for this crowd. Ryan hasn’t been on a bike in 25 years when he rents a Harley on the French Riviera. By the time the story reaches Cabo, he’s Road Captain of the Gargoyles MC, and the people he rides with are the people he’d bleed for.

It’s a story about getting back on the bike, finding your crew, and what you’ll risk to protect them.

If that sounds like you, come find me at the Wayward Run booth. October 15–18, Yellow Rose Canyon, Mt. Enterprise.

Signed copies. Free stories. Good company.

Meg, his wife, is far from just a passenger

Free Read. Prequel to Monaco, after escaping a bloody mob war in the United States, Louis arrives in Southern Italy in 1984 as a refugee with a one-way ticket and a need for protection.

Taken in by a Sicilian family, he is placed within the Gargoyles, a shadowy motorcycle brotherhood that acts as the family’s enforcers. Freshly patched, he rides into the foothills of Mount Etna, expecting a routine intimidation job. But when the mission reveals a darkness he cannot ignore, Louis is forced to make a brutal choice that will bury his past and forge a terrifying new legend. #cabo #monaco #wayward #bookish #travel
