WELL, I just got back from seeing, 'Mum, I'm Alien Pregnant'. A KIWI 'science fiction/body horror' COMEDY at the Adelaide Film Festival. I didn't really know what I was pushing here. NOW I do. The Debut film of (Sean Wallace and Jordan Mark Windsor) Fans of TRASHARAMA will dig this. Imagine if a young Peter Jackson made a movie about a girl who gets pregnant by an Alien. It would be SOMETHING like this. Kiwi humour, ALL bodily fluids covered, neat Practical Effects and a funny cameo from a New Zealand comedy/paranormal fav. If you get the chance. Check it out! #adelaidefilmfestival #mumimalienpregnant #thunderlips #splatter #kiwicomedy #umbrella #aff #splattercomedy #newzealandhorror taken in Palace Nova Cinemas by @dale.dick

“HELLOOOOOO MELBOURNE!” I'll be there this Friday night (October 9th) for the Victorian premiere of my new movie THE TALLER THEY COME, part of the insanely fun Monster Fest at Cinema Nova in Carlton. It's presented by the touring bad taste program Trasharama A-Go-Go, whose head honcho Dick Dale will introduce the film; I'll be on stage for the Q&A after along with actress Kristen Condon and cinematographer/editor/actor Kiefer Findlow, hosted by Michael Helms (Fatal Visions). Film starts at 6pm – hope you Melbourne peeps can make it along, and PLEASE help spread the word!

Tickets are at cinemanova.com.au/films/mf26-trasharama-presents-the-taller-they-come

t was RARE when good bands came to the little country hole called, Rockhampton, Central QLD. Circa 1984-85. Most of what you got were cover bands. There was only ONE local one of them that was even decent. When ROSE TATTOO came, we were there and down the front. Me and Borgy and maybe, Cav? It was a small venue called the Grosenvor Hotel and it was a freakin GREAT set. I don't know if I was even Eighteen yet. If so, only JUST. Up to that period one of the greatest gigs I'd seen. For some reason, beknown only to him, Borgy had a photo copy picture of Sid Vicious on him which he waved in front of the band all set. EVENTUALLY, Angry Anderson had a few words to say about it, "Sid Vicious was a man who knew a lot about Rock';n roll. Only two things fucked him up. Nancy Spuuuuuungeon and Smack. This songs dedicated to him." He then played, 'Bad Boy for Love'. Well, that was a good segway to a GREAT song. We met the band after the show. All I can say is, Angry was very pleasant and cool and encouraging to us as young Musos at the time. They signed the Sid poster. Yep, another mystery. Here it is. My memory of Angry Anderson.
