I used to overthink and let perfectionism get in the way of my creativity. Since a couple years i just get into a creative vibe and just express whatever flows through me in that moment. This way of creating really helped me a lot in my creative process. Thats why i started with BTS Marathon, a creative session where we create without overthinking and focus on expression instead of perfection. I made these 6 beats/ideas back to back in 6 hours. Scroll to the left and let me know which one is your favorite. Stay creative and have a productive week! Shine on

Its better to make mistakes and learn... than to procrastinate and miss your turn. The perfectionist in me doesn't want to upload this but I rather share the raw.. Instead of sharing nothing at all. #unplugged #songwriter #daledvn #acousticsong #musicianlifestyle #independentartist #guitarlover #songwritingsession #songwriterlife #indieartists #singersongwriter by @dale.dvn

I made this remix as a tribute to the late great DMX who passed away 5 years ago on April 9th of 2021. The original track is featured on his album "Exodus" featuring The LOX (Jadakiss, Sheek Louch & Styles P) and Swizz Beatz. I got introduced to Dmx by a classmate who let me borrow his brother's "Its dark and hell is hot" tape. It blew me away and I instantly became a fan of Dmx and the Ruff Ryders movement. 🙏🏼👑

Keep your back straight! (Back straight demo pt 2)
Less perfection more expression. My goal is to share the process and complete cycles instead of focusing too much on succes and wins. Carrying out ideas and finishing projects is where the challenge is more than writing a hit or making some amount of money, as i believe that when you do what you need to do you will eventually be rewarded. Ill leave that part up to the most high. For now lets walk the walk and keep our backs straight. #acousticrap #consciousrap #alternativerap #songwriting #musicforthesoul by @dale.dvn

Had the privilege to see the entire Wu Tang clan in Amsterdam. Wu Tang is more than a rap group, its probably the biggest movement in Hip Hop history. I remember growing up and seeing the W being carved in trams and metro's and sprayed on walls all around Rotterdam. They are a true representation of leadership, collaboration and unity. And showcase what's possible when brothers come together and combine their unique strengths and powers.

Wu Tang Forever!

Valuing lessons, on Gods timing there's no urgency." Just some snaps...of me moving up these steps.
