As you live & enjoy the breaths you take tonight before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, & never take one second of your life for granted.” by @dalekubala

This is my Dad! 50 years ago you would not have recognized him, he was a different man. Strict Italian father, working hard to support us, stressed & wound tightly. One day changed all that, at 48 he was diagnosed with cancer. It was at that moment he chose to move us to Naples. He took up tennis, learned how to swim, went to the beach for the first time & finally learned the true meaning of living a life by design. He felt he was living on borrowed time and loved living everyday. I’m happy to say he did get to enjoy another 30 years living the life he had chosen.
Was it a drastic move? yes Was it frightening to leave his business for someone else to run? yes Did he hate selling the house he had put all his blood sweat & tears into building? yes But he knew he couldn’t let life pass him by when he didn’t know how much life he had left.
I know this is long, but what would you do differently if you didn’t know how much longer you had to live? The fact is, we don’t. So please, don’t put off things until tomorrow. Tell the people in your life how much they mean to you. Go for that new career, new house, healthier lifestyle, but don’t wait another, second, minute or day! Life truly is short, so make the choice to design the life you want today ❤️ by @dalekubala

Being thankful is all about perspective. When you are thankful for what you have it can open up a new way of looking at how good you actually do have things. It helps to see that there are always things in your life that you can value and appreciate, no matter what is going on. by @dalekubala

It’s been proven that what we think & pay attention to over & over again, programs our mind to consider them as strong beliefs which influence our actions.
Some say that you can dictate the course of your life by controlling your mind. You can either be held captive by your thoughts or set free by them. Whichever one you choose will determine the quality of your life. by @dalekubala

With a positive attitude you don’t allow your mind to entertain negative thoughts.

Positive people give thanks for the blessings in life rather than complaining about the things they do not have. They don’t hold grudges against or harness anger against people.

You will notice amazing changes all around you. Your brain will actually begin to operate in a state of free-flowing feel-good hormones called endorphins, which will make you feel lighter & happier. You will feel more capable of taking on new assignments & challenges that might have previously been outside your comfort.
