If a hearty comforting brunch is what you dream of on the weekend, then you need to add @eggspectationca to your list 💭🍳🥞

This Montreal-founded restaurant offers elevated brunch classics including fluffy buttermilk pancakes, fresh smoothies and juices, Belgian waffles, and of course their famous Eggs Benedict (in SO many variations!), along with so much more.

Their menu is massive, so there’s truly something for everyone. Highly recommend getting any dish with their Lyonaise-style potatoes 🤤

@tahinisrestaurants just combined two of my favourite comfort foods into one delicious dish 👀 🌯🍜

SHAWARMA RAMEN immediately piqued my interest and it’s as delicious as it sounds 🤤 Each bowl is loaded with noodles, melty mozzarella, sweet corn, crispy onions, and your choice of crispy Greek halloumi or juicy chicken shawarma. Both spicy or mild options options available (the Spicy Chicken Shawarma was my fave!)

Spent the evening eating my way through Ottawa’s largest Indian food festival! 🇮🇳

Ottawa has a NEW fried chicken tasting experience and this is definitely not your average chicken dinner 👀🍗

I recently checked out @kozhi_ottawa in Chinatown for their Super Kozhi Fried Chicken Tasting Experience and it was the best way to enjoy comfort food in an elevated setting. Plus at only $55/person, it’s one of the most affordable tasting menus I’ve come across!

The five-course experience includes a comforting chicken broth, two rounds of crispy fried chicken, a palate cleanser and dessert. And yes… the chicken was every bit as crispy, juicy and flavour-packed as you’d hope 🤤👏

I also loved that the experience felt more like a full night out than just grabbing a plate of fried chicken, especially with their signature cocktails and champagne selection 🥂
