This past Sunday, I was honored to Keynote the breakfast of champions at Miss America, honoring all the volunteers and organizations that help change the lives of young women across our country. I reminded them that Beyond Their Titles they are the true champions !!! I reminded them they aren’t just running organizations….They are helping build belief in these young women and their futures. They are helping these young women discover the skills to not “walk on stage” but the true gift of knowing themselves and encouraging them as they walk into the stages of their lives. It was so amazing to see so many people that truly feel like family to me. Congrats to Robin and the entire Miss America team for giving these young women the opportunity and experience of a lifetime !!! As I leave South Florida today this quote is so true. Watching all the extraordinary women compete for Miss America last night was a reminder of what real confidence looks like. .

Every woman out there proved that the brightest glow comes from knowing who you are long before anyone else applauds. It comes from a belief within !

What a beautiful night here at Miss America’s red carpet gala honoring America’s 250th. It was a gorgeous celebration and recognition of Miss America’s partnership with The American Heart Association and the USO. Miss America @cassiedonegan you were incredible last night!! Love you. Robin Fleming just WOW!! Your dedication and vision for this organization is inspiring. I’m so happy for you my friend !! Love seeing so many people I love!! I love these lyrics… think of your fellow man… lend him a helping Hand… that is exactly what I had the honor of doing yesterday. The Williamson County chamber had this amazing women’s event and their keynote speaker for lunch had a family situation and could not make it at the last minute. My friend Kelly Meyers gave me a call and asked me could I do it and I immediately said yes.. There was so much love in that room. We honored Dolly, and I wore the tallest, sparkly, shoes that I have. We laughed, we learned, we hugged, we even shed a tear and above it all we felt Dolly’s presence in that room yesterday!! We felt kindness, authenticity and love!! Dolly made our world a better place and each one of us can do the same through kindness and love and lending a helping Hand. We were all in absolute shock yesterday to learn that Dolly had graduated to Heaven. I love this quote!! What an example of love, light , authenticity and generosity! She taught us all through her shining example to live life authentically!! She celebrated who she was, where she came from and every gift God gave her and she celebrated others. Greyson, my grandson, has been getting books from Dolly since he was born. Let’s strive to live every quality this amazing woman lived in front of us, let them become part of our lives and ripple out into the lives of others. Let’s ask ourselves .. what would Dolly do. ?
