Intimate stories of femininity & self

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I am HER.

A story about losing yourself, choosing yourself, and becoming the woman you were always meant to be.

HER is important to me because so many women learn to shrink themselves, stay silent, or lose parts of who they are just to be loved. This project is about taking that voice, power and identity back.

On October 3rd, I’m bringing the world of my debut EP HER to life through film, opera and live music.

Come feel it with me.

DALI PRESENTS HER
03.10.26 · De Meester, Almere
Tickets via the link in bio.

Thank you to all the beautiful souls who helped me bring this work of art to life. This story would not be HER without you.

Film & edit: Miles Jacobs
Instrumental: Kei
Featuring: Polina, Afiya, Irayda & Rieaux

My debut EP, HER, is officially out on October 3. All four songs will be available that day.

These songs hold pieces of what I’ve lived through, what I’m still learning to name, and the woman I’m becoming. They carry the voices of the women before me and the moment I began finding my own voice again.

I’ve poured so much of myself into this project. It’s been a long, vulnerable journey, and I’m proud of how hard I worked to bring HER into the world. To everyone who helped me shape it: thank you for standing beside me and putting your heart into this with me. ❤️

You can pre-save HER now through the link in my bio.

On October 3, I’ll bring these songs to life at De Meester in Almere. Come close and hear the stories beneath the surface. by @daliismyname

I AM HER.

Some of you may be shocked by what I share in this video. I spent a long time wondering whether to post it. At first, I only wanted to show it at my live show, because this is a vulnerable part of me. But this is my truth. And I refuse to silence myself over something that was done to me, something I never chose.

I am not alone. So many women experience sexual violence, abuse or have their boundaries crossed, and carry their stories in silence. We need to be able to talk about it. Without shame. Without being asked what we should have done differently.

You don’t have to find the perfect words. You don’t have to be out of the situation before you tell someone you trust what is happening. Speak when you can, in a way that feels safe for you.

This is why I make music. by @daliismyname
