In a world of my own🗺️

2024 was about survival, just like the previous year, but this time with a new perspective. I took a leap into graduate school and switched careers to pursue something I truly love. I’m incredibly thankful for the job offer from the district that made my graduate program possible, despite the emotional rollercoaster and anxiety that came with it.

As I look toward 2025, I’m filled with excitement and readiness for all that’s to come in my career, business, networking, and beyond! Here’s to new beginnings and continued growth!🌟

Having the opportunity to attend graduate school and teach my students every day, I am continually inspired by their resilience and spirit in our vibrant community. Together, we learn, grow, and uplift each other, proving that love and passion can inform lives!

Hi, I’m Dalina — the founder and president of @islagantcoevents ✨
I rarely show up on here, so I thought it’d be fun to share a few things about me:
💼 I started out working in law and tech, but quickly realized it wasn’t where my heart was. That realization led me to launch @islagantcoevents 💍
📚 Years later, I found myself back in the world of education — and absolutely fell in love with it.
🎓 This Fall, I’m heading back to school to pursue my Master’s in Education! My dream is to one day teach future teachers and grow within my district.
🌎 Outside of weddings, teaching, and studying, I run a networking group, host community events, volunteer, and I’m currently learning Spanish to better connect with my students and community.
🍟 I’m a big foodie and always down to try the newest spot in town. You’ll probably catch me throwing down a seafood boil at @pintsizeeats.denver. And yes… I’m obsessed with French fries.
👀 I’m planning to launch not one, but TWO new businesses by the end of the year!

I’m not getting old, I’m getting better✨

While the past year and a half has been absolutely everything I didn’t want it to be, I’ve learned to choose myself every day, give myself grace, and trust myself to choose what’s right for me.

Dolly Parton said, “Don’t you ever forget who you are and where you came from and don’t you ever let anybody tell you that you can’t do this or you can’t do that. You can do whatever you think you can do.”

I no longer accept inconsistencies or broken promises. Be careful who you trust. Salt and sugar look the same.

Some things don’t work out as planned, they work out better. This is 29. Tạm Biệt‼️

Page 1 of this chapter ✍🏼

Hey, it’s been a while. Truth be told, I ghosted everyone 471 days ago and drove 29 hours to Denver to start a new life.

Everything flows from our belief system; how we perceive the world, who we are, what we think we can or cannot do, and what we believe is possible or impossible.

Here is to another year of moving forward because none of us are going back. Cheers to 28.

Wake me up from this crazy dream‼️

To be able to wake up before sunrise every day to practice gratitude and know that my words and ideas can change the world blows my mind, as my life is on the line every single day. Do what you love and love what you do because your vision will pull you. My dreams are limitless and forgetting the risk and taking the fall keeps me going, as it is worth it all.

Through the climb, I will continue to dream without fear and love without limits.

25 — what a time to be alive 🤩

I am the driver of my own life and I have learned that the greatest thing I can ever do is to create a road map for myself, without allowing others to get in the way. Trusting the re-route and gracefully letting go of the things not meant for me is a blessing in disguise.

I am far from what I once was but not yet what I am going to be. I made it to a quarter of a century old and am five years from a mid-life crisis. Just kidding – but really though. Ready or not, I look forward to thriving like I never have before and am continuing to work towards becoming the best version of me.

Fear is just a liar running out of breath 🌫

Let’s talk about change. These very words, “You have changed” used to hold a negative connotation but over the years I have really learned to embrace change and warmly welcome it. After all, change is the only constant in life.

Confucius once said, “Only the wisest and stupidest of men never change.” We are changing every day, even if we do not notice it. Truth be told, great things never came from comfort zones. Might as well go with it because it is going to happen.

Here is a reminder to embrace this amazing opportunity to change my life for the better, every day.
