Swipe to see the difference proper equipment makes…

This home’s internet hub was previously crammed into a repurposed switchboard enclosure — never designed for the job, and it showed. We upgraded to a purpose-built Strong Vertical Wall Mount enclosure, giving the NBN fibre, internet equipment, CCTV system and Free-to-Air terminations the space they actually need.

Beyond the clean look, the new enclosure allows proper airflow — cool air drawn in from below, hot air naturally vented out the top — keeping every component running at its best.

We also replaced the underperforming mesh system with 3 new hardwired Wireless Access Points, delivering blazing fast, reliable coverage to every corner of the house.

Proper infrastructure. Proper results. ⚡️ by @daltonelectrical

Take a peek at a recent AV install at a beautiful St Kilda penthouse…

On the open-air balcony Sonos’ new Multi Amp drives Triad’s outdoor range, blending into the landscape while still delivering uncompromising sound.

Inside, the Samsung Frame Pro and Sonos Arc Ultra sit flush above a curved, polished plaster fireplace — technology that disappears until you need it.

It’s been a little while since we’ve posted, but we’ve definitely been keeping busy behind the scenes. ⚡️

Our team has been out there helping homeowners, builders and businesses with top-quality electrical & integration work across Vic — from new installations and renovations to repairs, maintenance and everything in between.

Keep an eye out as we share a bit more of the projects, people and work that make up Dalton Electrical.

Here is an RCD that is installed in most electrical switchboards and is designed to keep people safe by cutting power before you get an electric shock. This one had a loose terminal causing a hotspot on the electrical connection, very lucky not to have caused a switchboard fire. Having a check done of your switchboard is important and generally overlooked, get in touch if you’d like to book in a time for us to come make sure this doesn’t happen at your home or office. 🔥 taken in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia by @daltonelectrical
