If sin isn’t the worst thing that has ever happened to you- then the Gospel isn’t the best thing that has ever happened to you. #christianreels #worship #god #christian #jesus #preacher #faith by @daltonkeif

The cross of Jesus Christ is where the love of God collides with the wrath of God so that we could become children of God! God hates sin so much he poured His wrath out on sin at the cross- but God loves His children so much He poured His wrath out on His Son at the cross.

The moment I realized that God reveals Himself to me through His Holy Word was the beginning of me pursuing God relentlessly and treasuring Him as the joy of my heart and the satisfaction of my soul. It was only, though, when I found THIS critical truth: You don’t read the Word of God to know the Word of God, you read the Word of God to know the God of the Word.

Do you treasure the Word? Do you relentlessly seek God through His Word? Do you desire more of God? He is not hard to find.

Jeremiah 29:13 -You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

The key word is “ALL*” your heart. You must pour ALL your heart into the pursuit of the God who is worthy of it all! I promise if you do that, devote yourself to the pursuit of God through His Word, and diligently seek Him with all* your heart- He will speak to you, reveal Himself to you, and you will find the greatest treasure in existence: communion with your creator.

So, read the Word of God so you can know the God of the Word!

Jeremiah 15:16 - Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O Lord, God of host #god #jesus #christian #faith #christianreels #worship by @daltonkeif

Psalm 8:3-4 “When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?” by @daltonkeif

Jeremiah 10:6-7 “There is none like you, O Lord; you are great, and your name is great in might. Who would not fear you, O King of the nations? For this is your due; for among all the wise ones of the nations and in all their kingdoms there is none like you.”
