Things to say to your goalie to guarantee that they will love you all season long. by @daltonsosilly
Japan is turning something as simple as footsteps into energy. Special floor tiles use piezoelectric technology to capture the pressure created when people walk over them and convert that movement into small amounts of electricity. In crowded places like train stations, thousands of footsteps can add up and help power lights, sensors, and other small devices. It’s a fascinating example of how everyday movement can be turned into renewable energy and shows how technology could find creative new ways to generate power in the future. by @daltonsosilly

Japan is turning footsteps into electricity! Using piezoelectric tiles, every step you take generates a small amount of energy. Millions of steps together can power LED lights and displays in busy places like Shibuya Station. A brilliant way to create a sustainable and smart city. by @daltonsosilly
