2025, what a year it’s been.
Grateful beyond words to God for every step, every door opened, and every lesson learned:

• Scoring 250+ in the 9-hour USMLE Step 2 CK exam
• Passing my medical school finals
• Completing a Sub-Internship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation
• Presenting my first poster at an international conference in Chicago, Illinois
• Publishing several more papers, collaborating with authors from Cambridge, Yale and Texas A&M university.
• Losing 25kg (55 lbs) in the space of a year, through a healthy work-life balance
• Being surrounded by a family of friends who supported me through medical school
And most importantly, putting a smile on my dad’s face—achieving a dream he never had the opportunity to pursue.

All glory to God for His grace, guidance, and unfailing faithfulness 🤍🙏 by @daltzcb

Dr. Dalton James Chisom Bally MBBS, BSc (Hons.) 🩺

From humble beginnings to hospital wards - today, I graduate as a doctor.

This moment means more than a certificate or a new title. It’s the culmination of a dream that once felt too distant to touch. As a first-generation doctor, this journey wasn’t just mine - it was walked with the love, prayers, and sacrifices of those who came before me.

To my family: Thank you for believing in this dream even when we didn’t have a blueprint. For the unspoken sacrifices, the unwavering love, and for reminding me that faith and perseverance could carry me through anything. This achievement is as much yours as it is mine.

To my friends - my chosen family - thank you for standing by me during every breakdown, OSCE panic, and 3am call. You showed up for me in the little ways that made all the difference.

To every young person from a similar background, know this: you belong here. Your voice matters in every room you enter. Never stop dreaming - even when it feels out of reach.

All glory to God. The journey to serve, heal, and uplift begins now.
