I feel like this is weird to post but as Brené Brown says- Clarity is Kindness.

Instagram is SO useful and FREE...but it's also awful for me personally 😂 I usually am so good about just following my own path but I have succumb to compairisonitis & doom scrolliosis and it means I have to be on here wayyy less.

Comedy is the hardest craft I've ever attempted but I love it. I hate that I feel like I need to market myself AND write/perform. I hate that I need to share my works in progress to get attention. So I'm just...not gonna. 😘

2023 was all about planting seeds for the life I want. 2024 is going to be spent cultivating those sprouts I've made. Maybe 2025 I'll go hard on marketing what I've built, but for now I'm just gonna sit back and focus on myself, my craft, & building community.

Being non-binary has showed me that the constructs we've built can & should be challenged. The idea that followers is the metric for how good of a comic I am? That's insane.
The idea that a comic that has a lot of followers (that, frankly, they probably bought) is better than me? Insane!
The idea that this is the ONE WAY I can be noticed in this competitive world? OMG, INSANE.

So, I'm opting out. I don't want it. You can have it, it's not for me.

This was inspired by a celebrity comic who got internet-famous doing crowdwork and then when the time came to do a special he was absolutely not prepared. I want to put in the work so when the opportunities come I'm literally able to meet their expectations.

SO grateful for all the birthday wishes (& sales!!) Last day to take advantage of the Buy One Get One Free sale for my divination.

I'm already going into this year so abundant, loved, spoiled, & witchy afff. I used to hate my birthday & I'm so glad I grew out of that and built a life I actually want to celebrate.

I celebrated my birthday going out to drinks with my pals. We took over a part of the bar & then we had to move because there were too many of us.

I had each friend write down 8 wishes for the lion's gate portal & gave them a candle for their cupcake to blow out too.

Leos just do it a lil extra.

Going to be starting my morning opening my presents & eating children's cereal.
