30, holy sh*t.
What a wild journey it’s been so far. As I reflect on my 20s, I feel so grateful for all the lessons life has brought me leading up to this big birthday. There were definitely moments that felt “unfair” or too soon to be experiencing at that stage of life, but when you hit milestones like this, a lot of things start to make sense. And let’s be real, a lot of it was the universe redirecting me…

Looking back, my 20s were a wild ride — trying things and failing, but choosing to try again and eventually succeeding. A cross-country road trip in the middle of a global pandemic that led me to my sweet love. Grief, losing friends, making new ones. Starting a new job I LOVE and that feels rewarding/aligned every single day. There’s so much to be grateful for from that decade.

With all of this in mind, I can’t help but feel proud of how far I’ve come. And yet, there’s still so much more room for growth, love to share, relationships to build, adventure to experience, and endless lessons to be learned. I’ve got some big things planned for the first few months of this new decade 🤭

Massive shoutout to my Cali family who made this one of the best birthdays ever. I can’t even begin to express how celebrated they made me feel. The love I have for them is so real. We floated the Truckee River, had an unforgettable boat day, rock jumping, and shared a beautiful birthday dinner literally on Lake Tahoe with our toes in the sand. They all showed up with big and with unmatched birthday energy 🥹

I’m taking this moment to reflect and be where my feet are — soaking in the sunshine, the mountain air, and the love that surrounded me all week long. One of my biggest goals for 30 is to continue surrounding myself with people who allow me to fully be myself, and who inspire me to keep growing and doing better. To live the life I deserve.

“If you want to go far, go together”

Amsterdam was so special in so many ways. Beautiful art, museums that moved us, endless stroopwafels, finally a good spin studio 🙌🏼, and just strolling around the city for hours on end, and naturally we popped into a few coffee shops 💨🍃. Creight,
10 years without you making us laugh hysterically.
Caesar dressing isn’t for everyone, especially when you’re drinking it.
The same goes for mussel juice, just ask Sophia.
I knew every time we were together, my non existent abs would hurt from constant laughter.
You added so much to a room.
I hope you see that now.
You would do just about anything to make us laugh. Like really… to the extreme.
Thank you for a sense of humor (sometimes a dark one)
Your ability to not take life too seriously is a beautiful daily reminder.
Also, your resistance to conventional & “basic” is essentially how I live my life now.
I wish you could’ve seen you from our point of view.
You were so fucking cool.
So outside of the box.
I always admired that.
Your personal style & zest in every outfit and simply your physical being spoke volumes when you entered a room.
I will forever wish we had more time. But my hope is that now… you can see yourself through our eyes.
