As I emerge out of the newborn bubble😍, I am excited to announce all the exciting projects lined for my 26-27 season.

I have no words to describe my experience of becoming a new mom and being able to show my baby the world. We have made it to Leeds to start rehearsals for the revival of Rigoletto at Opera North and I could not be more exciting to step back into this incredible role with this wonderful company again. I look forward to making even more debuts and singing some new roles throughout the season.✨

Most people think comedy is random. It isn’t.
Some of the greatest performers in history understood movement, timing, and exaggeration.
Here’s how I bring that into opera.

We discuss how I incorporate physical comedy techniques inspired by classic comedians like Mr. Bean and Cantinflas into my operatic performances. I explain how exaggerated movements, similar to those in old cartoons and Looney Tunes, help convey emotion and action to distant audiences. We talk about how I instinctively matched the soprano @damedegrace extended vocal notes within her Aria, with dynamic physical acting during Act Two, creating a cohesive performance that resonated with the audience. Artist like @damedegrace provide room for Artist like myself to bring top notch quality performances to the audience. Please be sure to follow her if you have not already 🙌✅
