A brief overview of our first visit to Oyoko Methodist School, where we engaged both the junior and senior primary classes. We were honored to be joined by community leaders, the former Regional Director of Education, and the Krontihene, whose presence helped support and strengthen our efforts. Engaging regional leaders is important to us, as it ensures shared vision, and collective support for the work we are doing.

We were privileged to speak with 80 girls about menstrual health and the sanitary solutions available to support them. Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to provide sanitary and hygiene products, exercise books, and complete stationery kits. The junior girls were not left out and received snacks to take home!

You’ll notice that the boys were included in the presentation. We believe it is important for them to be educated as well, so they can be part of the solution—helping to challenge attitudes and cultural norms.
Thank you once again

We are DAMERKO

We believe in working with local communities to support girls’ menstrual hygiene and sanitation, helping to build confidence and wellbeing. Empowering girls by supporting their education is central to our work — nothing should stand in the way of learning.
