![Imagine listening to his voice almost a cappella in that dark room. And then with 80.000 people singing. Magic throw back to “Torna a casa”. Reposting this. A pearl of performance amongst other concert performances. A recording where you just listen and get mesmerized by the music and the voice. Best song of Maneskin in Damiano’s opinion from 2022. Out of this world. 2 versions The second one is the entire stadium of 80000 people singing the chorus together with Damiano
Goose bumps every time I listen. I have this on the same list like Coraline and the Felicita cover. Let’s sing and post while waiting for Maneskin to come back 👏👏👏
Singing about the fear of loosing his inspiration. A sad ballad. So is Felicita about the ever fleeing happiness. A master piece that allows us to feel our ( human) emotions, very good art does that . Makes me stronger and wanting to take action
A bit of translation here
I’m walking ‘round my city
Wind blowing strong
I left everything behind
The sun on the horizon
I see the houses from afar
They closed the doors
But luckily I have her hand and her rosy cheeks
She picked me up from the ground
Covered in thorns
With bites of a thousands snakes
Immobilized by the coils
She didn’t listen to those bastards and their cursing
With a look she convinced me to get everything and leave
This is a travel no one’s ever done before
Alice, her wonders and the Mad Hatter
We’ll walk on this street and I’ll never be tired
Until time will bring white upon your hair
A sheet and half a cigarette are what’s left in my hand
Let’s stay some more time, there’s no rush anyway
I have a sentence written in my head but never spoken
Because life without you can’t be perfect
[Chorus]
So Marlena come back home
It’s getting so cold here
So Marlena come back home
I don’t wanna wait anymore
So Marlena come back home
It’s getting so cold here
So Marlena come back home
I am afraid I’ll disappear
