There are some things you can only understand when you get close enough to the end to look back…

And that’s what makes this particular story about an old people’s home SO fucking haunting 😰

Sometimes an entire creative journey starts with something innocuous.

A film. A phone call with your mum. A compulsion that you can’t quite explain.

And somewhere during all these moments, the first seed of an idea gets planted.

Years later, that seed became The Ogaman Series 🌱

The real transformation isn’t always what happens to you physically.

Sometimes, it’s whether your mind can actually catch up with who you’ve become 🧠

That’s a huge part of Tundé’s journey in Ogaman 👣

The most fucked up part about this fear is that we’re too young to even comprehend what it would feel like to realise it’s too late 😮‍💨

A few more moments from a day I’ll remember for a long time 🥹📚

The Nigerian edition of “Ogaman: The Birth of a New King” is now officially in the hands of Nigerian readers, and getting to share that milestone at Roving Heights was genuinely special.

From signing copies to conversations with readers, meeting fellow creatives and connecting with people who had followed the journey from afar — I’m so grateful to everyone who took part in the moment.

And a huge thank you to @rovingheights for giving Ogaman a home in Nigeria 🇳🇬

Over 7 years of work, and we’re only getting started 💪🏿
