Douro Divers Porto, Portugal — Riverside scenes from the workshop I ran for @lightandlandphotography in Porto last month. As much as it is a highly colourful city the bright light and direct sun made it a gift for black and white shooters too. Check out the Light and Land website for my Berlin tour in January - that’s great for monochrome too. — Sony RX10 V — #streetphotography #blackandwhite #photographyworkshops #photographylessons by @damien.demolder

Early Up The River Porto, Portugal — Another dawn shoot during my recent workshop for Light and Land in Porto. We could have looked at the mist from the hotel window and gone back to bed, but there’s no such thing as bad weather for photography - there are just interesting conditions. I’m glad we went out. @lightandlandphotography — Panasonic Lumix S5llX with Sigma 50mm f/2 Contemporary — #blackandwhite #monochrome #dawn #vintagephotography #longexposure #shotonlumix by @damien.demolder
Over The Douro Sunset, Porto -- Even when the sunset clouds over the view from here as the city lights up is breath-taking. I took my Light and Land group here during our workshop in the city a couple of weekends ago, and it was different every time we looked up. -- Panasonic Lumix S5llX with Lumix S 24-105mm f/4 -- #Porto #streetphotography #photographyworkshop #sunset #shotonlumix by @damien.demolder
Hero's Return Dom Luis l Bridge, Porto -- One from my recent workshop for Light and Land to the wonderful city of Porto. An unexpectedly misty morning yielded some fabulously atmospheric conditions and a unique opportunity to create some different views of this well-photographed landmark. Always set your alarm, and always get out of bed - you never know what you might miss. -- Panasonic Lumix S5llX with the Sigma 50mm f/2 DG DN Contemporary lens -- #streetphotography #Porto #DomLuisBridge #Photographyworkshops #dawn #shotonlumix by @damien.demolder

Dawn, Vila Nova de Gaia, Porto -- Making an early start often shows us a completely different view of a city and its famous landmarks. This one was taken preparing for my Light and Land workshop in Porto at the weekend, during which we also set the alarms to shoot the Dom Luis I bridge as the sun began to light the sky. -- Sony RX10V on my 3legged Thing travel tripod Frank -- #porto #Domluis #photographyworkshop #photoworkshop #photographylessons by @damien.demolder
