Oui c’était déjà artificiel, mais artisanalement artificiel ! 2015 - Avant l’IA générative. On avait un fond vert, quelques idées très ambitieuses, et un ordinateur en souffrance permanente. À l’époque, impossible de tester 40 directions visuelles en une soirée. Chaque choix coûtait des jours de travail. Alors on réfléchissait longtemps avant de cliquer. Après beaucoup d’essais de post-prod, j’ai fini par accepter que ce clip devait être entièrement rotoscopé à la « main ».
Des mois de boulot. Beaucoup de café. Beaucoup de pixels déplacés un par un. Aujourd’hui certaines de ces images pourraient probablement être générées en quelques prompts.
Mais je garde une tendresse particulière pour cette époque où l’on passait plus de temps à imaginer le résultat qu’à le regarder une fois terminé. #motiondesign #vfx #rotoscoping #aftereffects #animation #greenscreen #digitalart #retrofuture #musicvideo #videoart #creativecoding #noai by @damien.motion
