To my beautiful son, on your first birthday ❤️
One year ago, you came into my life and changed it in ways I could never have imagined.
Becoming your dad has taught me a completely different dimension of responsibility, love and compassion. You’ve shown me a kind of love that is difficult to put into words — a love that makes me feel incredibly vulnerable, yet somehow stronger than I’ve ever been.
You’ve changed the way I see the world. The things that once seemed important somehow feel smaller now, because my greatest responsibility is you — to protect you, guide you, support you, and be there for you through every chapter of your life.
You’ve taught me patience when I didn’t know I had any, strength when I felt tired, and tenderness in ways I never knew I needed. Your smile can turn the hardest day around, and holding you reminds me that there is so much more to life than I ever understood before you.
